I just checked the schedule to wind out the season. It's brutal. Just about every team we play is in the playoff hunt. I see a Saturday game with the Caps the last weekend. Even if they're eliminated by then, you know they won't take that night off and will do everything they can to win.

One game at a time...

I think they are going to need some help. All the teams left in the playoff race probably aren't winning out either. Look, Columbus lost last night.

The schedule is brutal. Dallas tomorrow, then a back to back Monday and Tuesday.

All these tight games with overtimes don't help either.

Be nice to jump out to a lead in the first and hold it for once.

It's bizarre.

But it's real.

I still think that the players assert themselves as individual players when he is gone, but fall back to following his lead when he's there. Rust is the exception.

That's why I said they'll be hard pressed to get the 11-13 more points to make the playoffs. It's just jam packed with teams neck and neck for playoff spots. There's very little room for error.

You know if they had won at least half of their shootouts,this wouldn't be that much of an issue.

If they miss the playoffs, they can point to that as the reason why.

Its going to be REALLY disappointing if they miss the playoffs after all the excitement they have created this year.
