We were just discussing that in the chat. You can bet that Sid is not smiling, and the defense is getting the stink eye.
 
Nice win.

It sucks that the Caps and NYI went into OT. That way we will still be in third place.

Hoping that the Caps take the division now. I'm thinking that NYI vs Pens and Bs vs Caps would help us get to the second round.

Our internet was out for most of the game. It came back to life with about 13 to go in the 3rd. Looks like I missed the best part, but great that they played a complete game.

Also great to see where Kap came back and produced. Glad to hear Tanev is skating again.

Good deal. I'm good with however the seeding pans out so long as we play the Islanders. Let the Caps and Bs beat the hell out of each other.
 
Oh much better! 5-1 and held them to 0-4 on the powerplay. My boy Blue with a goal and a helper too. ****** eh.

Yeah. Every line is a threat. The D would be pretty darned good. We really have a good chance in this post season.
 
So I have pretty much zero IQ when it comes to hockey strategy.
Just amazed at watching some of these guys.

Let's see it is 4:29 PM 4/24/21 here in sunny san diego... and we are in FIRST PLACE!
How cool is that?

Hockey is a great game. I used to go watch the Gulls a lot. I even went to a few Mariners games.

Well for a couple hours, anyway. Caps pieced up the Isles tonight, so we are 2nd for now.
 
caps games next weekend are games of season so far. friday night sunday night. nice.

A win is a win they say..

But I thought the Pens looked absolutely gassed and lost their legs in the third...

Now they turnaround and play another afternoon game the next game against a rested and hot Bruins team.

Unless Jarry plays his best game of season...I see the Pens going down today.
In fact, Im betting on it.

I hate betting against the good guys, but when it comes to $$$ you need to use your head and not your heart.

And please....I really dont want to hear "your not a real fan" comments...
But fire away if you wish lol...
 
At home, nationally televised .... I think the Pens get up for this and boot the bruins.

They don’t typically do well in noon games, especially back to back. I hear ya on this one

OK, but this team looks different. The second tier guys are legit. There is a hunger here that looks great. We may not win this game. In fact, the last few games of the season are brutal. But, my hopes are higher this year than any years since the back to back years.

Best Pens game of the year so far. Sound defensively, excellent goaltending, a goal when they needed it. They passed up some quality chances for low percentage passes, but I’ll take the win. Big two points there.
