Penguins PP 0-3 so that cluster F of a PP at the start when it was 5-3 came back to bite us. I'm usually an optimist but I think we are done.

For this evening since the clock ran out. They're going to wrap this up next game.

I wouldn't put this one on him. He made some great plays to disrupt the Rangers and made some great passes. Looking at his play as more of a guy who can set up a play rather than driving it home.

Pens dominated the face offs tonight. There’s a lot of possibilities in setting up plays on face off. This series has really opened up a lot of what ifs tonight. Worst is a game 7. Glad the Pens showed pride in playing the game this year and didn’t look lackluster like years prior. As a fan I’ve been surprised

I’m actually interviewing for a potential strength and conditioning gig with a nearby high school. I can get my foot in the door with UNM but they want unpaid intern.

Good deal...I want to see you move on with your life's work with what is your passion and from what I have seen you should be in either strength training, or maybe better yet physical therapy. Those PT/OT jobs usually pay really well and you can get a job wherever you want to live. Also F Amazon..

I will. Amazon is just something to keep me busy and have something on my resume. The covid lockdowns in 2020 really messed up some plans.

They were dead in the water until they went after Sid's head again. :30 seconds into the game they were called for the same elbow on Jake. That's not hard-nosed hockey, it's a BS strategy to hurt players and the Rangers are happy with this win? I'd be embarrassed as a Ranger and fan. Those shitbags did it to Mario with Adam Graves and now Sid. GARBAGE LEAGUE.

All I’m gonna say is this: Crosby went out with about 6 minutes to go in the 2nd. All 5 Rangers goals came after that. If Sid doesn’t return, there’s a good chance the Pens are done.

Guys have to adjust to others they haven't been playing (or practicing) with for most of the series. If Crosby's out for game 6, Sullivan will at least have a day+ to make adjustments and put together the best line combinations. Plus Rickell might be ready to return.

I thought the Pens were in control for most of the game until Sid’s injury. The talent is enough to get it done. So I’m optimistic in the team’s ability to strategize. If they lose Friday night, I’ll count them out. In the mean time this next game should tell the Pens direction as a franchise. FSG ownership, CEO David Morehouse leaving. I think this game will have big implications on the hockey ops.

Well the nhl does favor their original 6 a lot. This was the very reason why they signed Reaves in 2017. As much as it is bush league trash, you still need to have guys on the roster to have a response to it.

They might manage to still win the series, but where are they going after that? Not contending for the Cup that is for sure. Sorry but getting past the first round isn't any consolation for us spoiled Pens fans. Geno can be great when he has to be, but he can't do half the things Sid was doing with Jake and Rust. Those guys are almost hard wired into each other. Can't plug in Malkin and expect the same production in a game or 2.... Just like the Steelers, like I have said many times before its always something.

I just get sick of the same **** different year with it all...
