I was thinking Lev Bell, but WR was his "issue"Not all WR’s are divas but all divas are WR’s.
I was thinking Lev Bell, but WR was his "issue"Not all WR’s are divas but all divas are WR’s.
Here's just a few of the issues
1. Diontae gets open quickly, & Pickett usually goes to his first open man
3. Pickens is covered pretty well ...
No worries.Pickens was wiiiiiiiiide open at least 5 times that I counted when looking over O'Sullivan's game report: the crossing route 1st quarter, the route over middle from the slot in the 2nd quarter, the deep ball to DJ when Pickens was crossing again and the defender was well behind him, the failed TD catch, and on DJ's touchdown.
Your team just won. You're 2nd in the AFCN at 5-3 and you could go to the playoffs. Be a team player and don't demolish your career like AB, the shirtless, crazy person did. Be humble and do your job. We know you have talent - so don't blow it by saying or doing stupid shiit.
No worries.
This is why Canada is now on the sideline; he can work with his players, in game, to point out better options.
Have no fear, Canada is here.
Good news, bad news situation here.
The good news: George Pickens was spotted working out like a maniac yesterday.
The bad news: His workout consisted of hoisting patio furniture.
He had his moments at UGA. Got kicked out of the game vs GA Tech in 2019 for fighting their DB, same competitive side in wanting the ball and ignoring teammates. He cools off. He’s not AB level crazy. Unless he lands a big contract like AB 2012 then perhaps the money brings the worst out of himI thought about that, but Pickens suffered an ACL injury that kept him off the field his senior season. If he is on the field that entire year and is a 3rd option, behind the running game and Bowers, I wonder how he would have reacted.
He's not AB level crazy but he's starting earlier. AB wasn't that huge diva his first handful of years. It was after he got paid. GP has been showing his immaturity, etc. since he got here last year and he's done it in every game this year. He's now getting flagged for all of his jawing and taunting. Someone needs to knock some sense into him so he can control himself. I knew this was coming as soon as DJ got back. DJ gets a lot of targets. KP will go to his first read if he's open and that is probably DJ as it was last year. You can't blame him for throwing to the first guy he sees that is open. If GP is the main read, then it will go to him if he's open. That's how it works. Open, then no need to look for your next option. GP thinks he is always the guy. Given the length of Matt Canada’s tenure, Tomlin’s leash has gotten pretty long.Pretty spot on.
Tomlin has said “I will put up with you, until I can replace you”.
I’m sure Coach Tomlin will try to address this GP problem sooner than later and that replacement will be as a last option. The WR room and veteran players, including CAM, need to address this immediately and sooner. If talk doesn’t work,
then practice “take out” will.
Salute the nation
He was watching Rocky IV where The Rock is working out in the snow using a tree trunk while Vlade was working out on the Nautilus Super Power machines...Good news, bad news situation here.

I hate to say it and I don’t have any proof…. But it almost looked like he didn’t get that second foot down on purpose.
I really don’t know how else to explain it… it was almost shocking to see for such a talented wide out.. but I wouldn’t put such a spiteful act past the troubled kid..
As they say…
He ain’t right man!
My 1st workout equipment at age 12 was a single red brick for curls...
I think I had the same set. Hollow bars and plastic covered concrete and all. A few actually split open after a while. It came from Sears in '74 or '75. The collars went on and there was a wrench to tighten the square head of the screw. I didn't get it tight enough one time doing bench presses, and when one side of the barbell was lower than the other side all the weights went sliding off that side. Then the other, heavy side slammed the floor and the barbell got me in the neck. Good times. You started out right. Working each side individually avoids powering up the stronger side even more, as usually happens with barbells and curling bar.
My first weight set in 1974 consisted of a hollow metal tube for the barbell, two smaller hollow metal tubes for the dumbbells, and those plastic covers filled with cement for the weights. Had to get a wrench to tighten the little locking nuts at the end of the collars.
Someone will lay him out eventually with the jawing he does. It’s a learning lesson for himHe's not AB level crazy but he's starting earlier. AB wasn't that huge diva his first handful of years. That is awesome, Jiminoh. And I had forgotten about that dumb fake wrench to tighten the locking nuts until you mentioned it. Without a doubt my parents got the set at Sears when it was on sale.
By the time I was 17, I could lift a lot of weight. By that point, I had purchased 45 lb. iron plates. I put every weight I had on the barbell - cement, iron plates, every single weight I had and totaled 245 lbs. - and the hollow bar bent noticeably. Did reps with the 245.
