Pickett out multiple weeks if not season

How many illegal formations + timeouts because of incorrect players.....this is not excusable in the pros......3 of these in the first half!!

Cause Tomlin has kept Danny Smith forever even though his special teams are always a question mark. And he keeps a damn punter that can't friggen punt in key situations. Years and years of the same crap.

I will say this; what I saw today out of Kenny was not good and pretty much offset what we saw last week from him. He just can't seem to read the field very well and is slow to deliver even when he does make a decision.

We were never taking a QB in this draft, unless it was a project (I.e. Josh Dobbs of Mason Rudolph)

You get that when you change Coordinators mid season. I’m hoping they can do something with Trubisky that Canada couldn’t because he just does not inspire confidence the way he has played.

I still remember the Jacksonville game where we were down ten and there was not even an attempt to get to come back in the final five minutes.

The four games mean nothing. I’ve seen him enough…Kenny cannot read the field very well just like he said.

We need to draft a quarterback fairly high …End of discussion…
 
Heard on NFL net that he had tightrope procedure done after the game today. Expected 3-4 week return
 
I dont think either QB played terrible today, the calls were questionable and the line was horrible. We had no answer for AZs blitzes. Pickett missed some reads, but he was not the reason we lost. Dumb penalties, horrible blocking, bad snaps, defense getting run gashed, etc etc...QB play is pretty far down the list today.
 
This is not good news....I'm sorry Trubisky is ******* horrible and I have zero confidence in Mason Rudolph too. We will be lucky to get by New England this Thursday night with Trubisky at QB! Going to be very difficult to watch!

It wont be. And honestly why would you even want one when every single qb drafted by Tomlin end up looking tge exact same?

Get an offense lineman this year. Maybe in the first and second rounds… Make that line fierce. If pickett doesn’t step up have the next guy ready with a quality line

If I was Rooney, Tomlin’s job security would be tenuous right now. The Steelers OL issues predate their QB issue.
 
Mitch isn't a downgrade, Mitch at his best is far superior to anything kenny has put on tape. Mitch has thrown literally half of Kenny's 25 game career TD's in a single game.
Let that sink in. 25 five games.
I hope he lights it up and Kenny stays on the bench even when healthy. Yesterday was the same old deer in headlights can't even throw accurate well timed short passes. I've seen enough.

Not only that , but it helps accentuate that Kenny ain't all that, or much of anything, and on top of sucking, he's fragile as a China doll. We've all been trying to convince ourselves that Kenny is a legit NFL QB prospect to becoming a franchise QB; we are just kidding ourselves. We might as well be trying to convince ourselves that Shades is a top 3 head coach - pure fantasy, nothing but.
 
Trace McSorley is who we sign...why not bring in a Foles, Wentz, McCoy, or Ryan and open up the competition?

He looked fine to me when given time in person. Maybe still a bit gun shy but rather have that than then what I saw Mitch do. He just missed throwing at least three picks forcing the ball into double and evn triple coverage while we still were in the game. I truly feel we win if he(Kenny) stays in.

Kenny's ability to handle the NFL physicality is his biggest challenge.... and my main concern with him.

Since day one.

I thought it was that I have been so used to Ben's physicality, that I was being too harsh with that criticism of Kenny.
Now I don't feel that way.

Hell, Kenny's physique makes Mitch look like Adonis out there..

The bad part now....is that I believe he feels that way also.....that is why we are seeing his play regress this season.
Last season he was a rookie and playing on pure adrenaline, now reality is setting in for him.
