Pickett to the Browns

I think they get through camp to find Pickett as the starter with Deion *****-ing loudly. Pickett finds out his SB ring means jack-**** and is replaced by Sanders week 5. Sanders finds out the NFL hits much harder than school boys and Flacco finishes the season from week 12 on. Watson becomes available as the emergency QB from week 8 & forward, but plays NO snaps for the season.

ALSO in a twisted fate, Howard gets his 2-0 status against the Browns. Only action he sees all season. A-aron goes 6-1 before injury puts him out, RUDY goes 5-3. Skyler doesn’t lose the two games he had to finish out 1-V formation and other 3:16 left in the 4th to take over a slight injured Rudy.

I dont hate Pickett, but even Id be pissed if he magically ended up our starter again this year through Browns buffoonery...


Though, I guess with the Browns luck, whatever QB they ditch this year is destined to have an epic year elsewhere just because it would just be so Browns for that to happen...

That would be a sad ****-ing day for us to have to suffice a Brown’s cast off QB, as our starter.

That would put the “Mike Tomlin” debacle over the top.

It would be a subsidiary of the Factory of Sadness Part Duce.!!!

With 1 more TD than interception in his career, the #s speak for themselves. He's a bum, a wasted draft pick by Art. How and why everyone was so excited by this bum as the Steeler QB, I'll never know. And he's about as sturdy as a China doll: a brisk wind would get him hurt.

The Steelers should've have let Colbert run the last draft, or at the very least not allowed him to select a QB. His run with Cowher and early with Tomlin was pretty incredible. The last stretch of his career was pretty bad and has the Steelers in a tough spot right now. But allowing a retiring GM to select a QB is ridiculous. If Khan/Tomlin wanted him, that's fine, but they should've been the duo calling the shots.

That was a real head scratcher to me, the way they announced Kahn as the new GM but made him wait nearly 1/2 fiscal year to actually take over. It wasn’t just the draft but everything leading up to it. Ownership saddled him with the exiting GM bullshit.

When an employee approaches me to give their two weeks notice, I tell them to pack there **** right on the spot as they are gone.

They should have, but Art was the force that mandated that they choose Kenny, no one else. Of course, it's hard to find proof that Art called the shots on Kenny being the pick but had it worked out we'd be hearing about it just like when the Rooneys chose Ben.

Whether Rooney mandated it or not, as Lloyd states, I highly doubt it was that cut and dry.

Art 2 : YOU are going to picke KFP, like it or not

Or

Art 2 : Coach Tomlin, what do you see in KFP, can he be a starter as we need one desperately and a “Homer town” boy would really bring the interest.


I would say Art 2 made sure they double looked and Coach Tomlin liked what he was seeing for the last 3+ years at O’l next door Pitt.

Not that it makes any difference now, but I believe any QB would be hamstrung in the current Steelers offensive philosophy of no turnovers, including KFP. My fondest moment is when he ignored Oh Canada resulting in 6, the look on Canada's face was priceless. I have no hate for Kenny and he played no part on where he was drafted. I hope he gets a chance with a real OC and HC and does well.
