A bad bruise will have that effect, or a hyperextension, which is what he has. Ice it. Rest it. Maybe shoot it up game day. If there is nothing structurally wrong, he should not be at risk of further injury if he shoots it. And, as someone mentioned, he didn't rush for much vs. Ravens as it was any how, so less touches as a rusher might not hurt us much.
Bell's biggest contribution to the offense is his blocking and catches out of the backfield. That's where it will hurt if he doesn't suit up. Unless Haley can pull something out of his *** and use a combination of Harris/Archer as they would Bell, it could keep BAL off-balance, The last thing we need is their D teeing off on Ben because they know we will pass 85% of the game.

Harris looked better than any of our recent past back up (save Blount). To me he looked more like a legit HB than Dwyer and Redman, but that isn't saying that much. Maybe Tomlin will give him the "standard is the standard" and "Next man up" speeches and from that alone, we will be fine.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read in the history of any newspaper. Chat board , text , children's book etc.... Wow !!!! First off this is the steelers aka the rooneys. There is absolutely no chance in hell rice ever plays for the steelers. Second he doesn't know the offense what so ever. Good lord!!!! And I thought this chat board was known for its football iq. My lord I won't sleep tonight knowing how dumb this post is
Dulac said on one of the radio shows Monday that there are always a couple of guys who look really good in practice but rarely play.
For the first half of the season he said it was Bryant. For the second half of the season it was Harris.
