Wonder if we go grab Velasco off the scrap heap for more depth. He played fine ball last year in Pouncey's place.

Velasco is on record for wanting to start where ever he goes

If they bring back Velasco, i would guess that he has to first be healthy, and if so; i would guess Pouncey to LG

Many here, forget Vel's injury seriousness. He has to prove healthy, before even a sent of return.

Yea, weren't they predicting that Velasco may not be ready to return until November/December

Don't forget about Fister Wallace.

fisting Wallace is definitly still a backup until he opens up a space in the starting spot, with his play, not his fist.

Velasco says he is ready to go. He said he is running and doing OL drills. He also said that wherever he goes, he expects to have a chance to start.

That is fair enough, compete for a chance to start. If he can over take and be the starter, more power to him!!!! I just think, that doctors / coaches, those who see him practice regularly, will be able to make the right decision, of his playing status.

If you are someone who highly respects Munchak as an OL coach I recommend you listen to how high he is on Pouncey. I also think you need to remember he was the one who cut Velasko last year in Tenn. Velasko and Wallace graded out about the same last year and Wallace can play guard. So barring a major injury I think that case is closed.

Are you kidding me?!! Our coaches are lucky to be able to find their way to the ******* field. No way they would be able to make any reasoned decision about a players ability

Yeah the last O line coach screwed the pooch.. Hopefully the new one does better.

Hope Velasco is our center.

Pouncey can play guard .

I would be more than surprised to see him signed early out of the gates.

Pouncey is the C, provided he stays healthy.

I'm hearing what your saying, but I'm pretty sure they will be able to tell if he is able to play or not, due to health. With Muncheck, I think they will be able to also be able to tell if he is competing for starter position. Have a little faith, and things will be well!

We need Pouncey back, but we need the pre-ankle injury Pouncey back. He has not been dominant since the SB year before he had the high ankle sprain. Here's to hoping he can rebound.

I paid 50 sents for the real deal on Vel's injury. I, too, believe he was scent to the trash heap without a peep on his injury. I wonder if he'll be cent back to Nashville???

Ark loves sarcasm...

I have really soured on Pouncey. I feel he is over-rated as a player and I think that he and his brother are both thugs.
