If there was any chance of that Oladokun would be getting snaps. He isn’t so they would have to find another veteran to sign.

We've already seen how far Rudy takes us as a starter. If Trubisky gets injured early and Pickett isn't ready, I think you can flush the season.

To be the everyday guy he needed to pick his game way up, play more consistent, get better at finding his receivers down field… he looks like same qb to me I don’t see that as being good enough… that getting inside the 10 then not scoring a TD is same ol’ Mason that was the Detroit game all over again. He didn’t stink but he’s not a starter
Im fairly pleased with the first half.. stuff to work on, but i like the depth in a lot of areas… missing all of the stars
Easy to stay clean when you watch the play unfold and stay off the ground

I will give Bush one chance with the full squad and if he looks the same I start looking for another option. Maybe trade Claypool and Bush to Chicago.

Going historically, tge Steelers try to keep rookie qbs as the 3 , but don’t fear tgem as the two if situations force it… Batch got hurt in preseason during Bens rookie season and they didn’t get a vet… with a team they expected to compete
Back in the day Neil O’Donnell got some rookie starts as the 2…
I think if Pickett shows he is ready he will be tge 2. They will keep another qb on the practice squad… it’s different when they have a dedicated qb coach than the old days when a vet backup was a defacto coach

So far so good and half the starters on offense didn't play. Pickens is who I thought he was. Guy is polished with amazing body control. Really pumped over him.

Catching up on tape delay, great half. Everyone looks hungry. Total bullshit move booing Rudolf, good for him coming in and balling out. Rudolf will be on the roster, not an all pro but deserves to be here, deal with it
Gunner O isnt a lock… they probably keep 5… id trade snell and just run with 3 rbs plus watt and Heyward as an emergency option and keep six wrs, but thats just me

Anything’s possible but Williamson and Lolley sure don’t see it that way. Mason with a 100 rating at this point might not have made his case to start but he sure didn’t hurt his case to be the backup. SOme dropped passes and he might have had another score. He might be more valuable to trade in season after an injury somewhere anyway.

Gunner is on the squad. He is a major special teams guy not just a returner he is also on coverage. He made the team tonight for sure.
