Pregame Green Bay vs Steelers

New here. Been lurking for a while now.

Anyhow.... no one has mentioned that if the Packers win it will be a first for them in Pittsburgh since 1970. I'm feeling good about this game.

It’s also worth mentioning that since 1970, Packers have only played here (can’t remember the exact number) less than 5 times.

Like most “stats of the past”, they really don’t mean much.

Salute the nation

Lock it in

I love these tweets, since the final comp pick equation cant be finalized until after the season since it includes total snap counts and awards and how tgey stack up to the rest of the league

All that is locked in is how much he could earn this year. We should get a 4th for him but weird stuff could still happen.

Too true. Before they can even think about compensation for Fields, they have to work out how to finagle a third rounder and two higher fourth rounders to Baltimore.

All I know is that there has been some tremendously bad football games played this weekend. With the exception of the Wake Forest game, every game that I have had access to was a flipping blowout. The only close game in the NFL today was the Bungles and the Jets.

So expect a nail-biting game tonight that will keep us up past midnight in which the outcome is uncertain.

****!

You obviously need to watch Bama with me...

Green Bay is a much better team than the Steelers, especially defensively. They're balanced. #14 in total offense, #12 in yards per play. Pittsburgh is #25 and #16. Their defense, while #6 overall, is #1 in YPA allowed (5.8) and #4 in rushing average against (3.5). Our favorite team, conversely, is #31 (7.1) and #20 (4.4) in those important defensive categories. And the Packers have played some good offensive teams like Detroit, Washington, and Dallas.

Should be a relatively easy road win for the Pack, by 7 points or more.
I'm not so sure about that. Whilst the Packers are a very good team and favourites, I don't think they are the type of team that usually blows the Steelers out in the regular season. Steelers big losses usually come against teams with an elite running back (Henry, Barkley) or quarterback (Mahomes, Brady, Allen) or occasionally against **** teams they are expected to beat. Against good teams without an elite factor on offense the Steelers generally win or go down by a narrow margin.

If it was first week of the playoffs (hypothetically speaking), then I would agree, easy win to the Packers.

Always fun to visit The Burgh. Great food and people. I want to clarify this next statement by saying I had already made up my mind in the 2 hours prior to kickoff so it’s honestly not sour grapes….. this was by far the worst visiting fan base in my 6 visits here and that includes the armpit of civilization Browns. Talk about just ignorant foul mouthed dicks. I was embarrassed to be there tonight and have to listen to such douchers act like that.

You more sure now?

Holy **** this team is pathetic. Just wow.

Go pack go nice and loud on tv. That's a first. This whole thing needs an enema.
Why would a Steelers fan want to go see this product? You can get nice coin for selling the tickets, and won't have to spend concession money and fight traffic to watch this garbage.

I get it.
