Preseason game 2 Steelers vs Jacksonville

You had Mitch #3 which doesnt seem to be reality. If Mason started the game he would have been killed Mitch was at least able to escape. He missed DJ on a big play, but threw a miraculous ball while running for his life that was dropped. Mason would not have made it out of those sacks. Our first team oline was dominated we need a mobile QB there
 
Chicoman- if you do a preason 2 observation tread can you go through how stupid mason looked winning the game? I couldnt see it was following play by play

No but if you went off tonight’s game it would be. Yes that is the reason Mason isn’t getting real chances, he doesn’t fit well with the scheme but moved well enough tonight aside from the endzone play.

What? You are making my point for me. Teams used to play starters a half or more in week 3 because it was 2 weeks before the season. That timing remains. Week 3 is 2 weeks before the regular season, yet teams are sitting most starters which means most starters will not have meaningful snaps in 3 weeks.

There's too much group think in the NFL. Back in the day, teams used to play their starters a lot in preseason week 4 and then a few teams switched that up to week 3 and resting in week 4 and the league followed suit because it was logical. I have a feeling that some team will play eventually play their starters a lot in week 3 and then get off to9 a hot start in the regular season and then more teams will play starters in week 3.

This. I think our offensive line is still complete ****. Keep all the QBs. They're gonna get killed back there. Well, except for that #4 guy. Don't waste the roster spot.

And Snell and Bush still suck. You'll never convince me Teague didn't have more upside than Snell and McFarland combined.

i certainly have to give Rudy props, he's done well for himself so far this preseason. but boy, i can't wait to come here and see the reaction of both you and fordfairlane or whatever his name is, if they end up trading him

SInce Omar, the other one, said he wasn’t looking to trade him I am not too worried about it. Oladokun would have played some tonight if that were a real possibility.

Whoever 🙃...... one of the Rooneys...somebody who
controls the purse strings. The starting OL needs help and they ain't got time, and/or enough $ either, to pick up good vets at this late stage. Gotta coach up what they got or Mitch or Kenny or MR will be running for their lives.

he moved alright, but he doesnt move like pickett or mitch. A non-mobile QB can not play behind this line. We are going to have to have a qb who can avoid sacks and hope a wr breaks open

No I agree on that. But he is far better moving than he was. Right now I trust him more than Mitch throwing the ball just not staying alive doing it.
 
Lets go old school with this. Kenny is Fonzie , cool and a leader, Trubisky is Ritcjie, steady and a good guy and Randolph is Potsy, goofy and a loser.
