President Trump Arrives in Saudi Arabia for first foreign visit

Donald Trump Shuns Press Conference, Celebrates Successful Foreign Trip with American Troops

(NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Sicily) — President Donald Trump on Saturday said his maiden first trip abroad was a "home run" and he vowed to overcome the threat of terrorism, concluding a grueling five-stop sprint that ended with the promise of an imminent decision on the much-discussed Paris climate accord.

Trump ended his nine-day trip with a speech to U.S. troops in Sicily, where he recounted his visits to Saudi Arabia, Israel, Belgium and Italy and his work to counter terrorism. The president said recent terrorist attacks in Manchester, England and Egypt underscored the need for the U.S. to "defeat terrorism and protect civilization."

"Terrorism is a threat, bad threat to all of humanity," Trump said, standing in front of a massive American flag at Naval Air Station Sigonella. "And together we will overcome this threat. We will win."

The president recalled the terrorist attacks in Manchester and Egypt that targeted innocent women and children as well as a suicide bombing in Indonesia that killed three police officers. He said that attacks would only steel the resolve of world leaders to fight terrorism.

“Together, civilized nations will crush the terrorists, block their funding, strip them of their territory, and drive them out of this earth,” Trump said.

The president arrived on the base to a raucous crowd and shouts of “USA! USA! USA!” as the Air Force One movie soundtrack played in the background.

First lady Melania Trump introduced her husband, calling the journey an “incredible trip.”

“My husband worked very hard on behalf of our country, and I’m very proud of him,” she said.

Trump recalled his commitment to a “peace through strength” foreign policy.

“That’s what we’re gonna have. We’re gonna have a lot of strength and a lot of peace,” he said.

The president and the first lady return to Washington, DC, Saturday evening, as they plan to recognize Memorial Day on Monday.

Sure hope he's okay. He spent the entire campaign mocking Jeb Bush, Hillary and others for their low energy and lack of stamina. He seemed out of breath this entire trip.

Camera Catches Trump Health Scare In Europe On Camera; Too Weak To Walk
http://bipartisanreport.com/2017/05...-in-europe-on-camera-too-weak-to-walk-images/

What was Donald Trump doing riding in a golf cart, trailing behind all of the other G7 leaders? Was he trying to slip away from the meetings and play a round of golf? Was he trying to play king of the world as his minions led the way? No, the real answer is even more embarrassing.

What a contrast a day or two makes, since the U.S. president muscled his way past the prime minister of Montenegro aside to get to the front row for photos. The optics of Trump among the U.S.’s allies looked really bad. He stood apart with an arrogant frown on his face, as he lectured his equals. Their expressions ranged from disbelief to anger to laughing at the man from America.

As Trump neared the end of his nine-day tour of the Middle-East, followed by the NATO and G7 meetings, his age caught up with him. That was when the 70-year-old president had to take the golf cart as the leaders from Germany, France, Canada, Japan, the UK, and Italy walked the streets in Taormina, Sicily.

That image of him in a golf cart depicted a weakened man, reflective of his weak and rude behavior among the United States’ allies. He was too tired to keep up with the other strong, energetic, and united leaders. The whole scene was symbolic of his attitude toward climate change.

Here is the contrast:

The Times [UK] wrote about Trump’s golf cart outing:

‘The distance between Donald Trump and his G7 partners was spelled out dramatically today when Theresa May and the leaders of Italy, France, Germany, Japan and Canada strolled the streets of Taormina, Sicily — while he followed in a golf cart.’

‘They walked the 700 yards from the traditional G7 group photo, taken at a Greek amphitheatre, to a piazza in the hilltop town, but Mr Trump stayed behind until he could take a seat in the electric vehicle.’

Yeah, a home run in making a fool of himself the second he wasn't kow-towing to the Saudi King and far-right Netanyahu. When amongst his so-called peers at NATO and the G7, world leaders showed exactly what they thought of Trump and how little respect they have for him.

Here is recently elected French PM Macron throwing Trump serious shade....walking straight towards Trump then veering off the last second to greet Merkel and others. I guess Macron knows full well who the leader of the free world is.

Truly a home run trip, congrats President Trump!

Angela Merkel says Germany can no longer rely on Donald Trump's America: 'We Europeans must take our destiny into our own hands'

The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, has suggested her country and Europe can no longer rely on the US under Donald Trump.

Speaking at a campaign event in Bavaria, she emphasised the need for friendly relations with the US, Britain and Russia, but added: "We Europeans must really take our destiny into our own hands."

She said that "the times in which we can fully count on others are somewhat over, as I have experienced in the past few days."

I am sure you will all agree this is a good thing. **** our allies around the world, it's time to change course and bed-down with Duterte, Putin, Erdogan, Orban et al.
