Victim classes are killing us. Thus, politics is killing us. Democrats cater to and create victim classes. And it's smart, politically - though very nefarious.

It creates the "tail wagging the dog" syndrome.

Everything else in life typically operates under the notion of "majority rules." President elected by majority of votes. Class President, same. Families often decide on "what everyone wants to eat tonight." Political domestic policy is often about what benefits the majority of Americans.

But victim classes allow politicians to drive policy based upon a tiny, scant % of the population that negatively affects the majority.

Trans issues are the most perfect example. It's estimated there are 750K trans people in the USA. 0.0023 of our population.

But policy has been driven to "protect" this group and those policies in some ways negatively affect the vast remaining majority. Public restrooms and gym locker room rules have been changed nationwide to cater to 0.0023 of the population - and yes, it has had negative consequences. Women's sports have been destroyed in certain areas, where the female athletes have no chance of competing - see CT high school track.

By and large, being accepting of this community is not difficult to do. However, politicians use these victim classes to drive policy that negatively affects the rest.

At some point in time, the pendulum needs to swing back to the notion that has operated for centuries effectively by and large - that what is good for the majority should be the policy while working to provide accomodations within that construct.

The scary thing about this is women athletes who object will be accused of being transphobic and if not expelled from these schools, shunned and ridiculed. So they have to pretend they’re ok with it. The Yale swimmer also destroyed the narrative as she has stayed competing against women so she has a chance still. SHe understands she can't compete against most men.
