They won more games the year before when Rodgers broke on the first series or whatever.

If we pay him < $20MM and it's a 1 year deal or something that's easy to get out of after one year, I don't really care too much.

But it's there's a big SB and we end up with a bunch of dead money the next year, I think that's a bad call.

But I also think that the reason he isn't signed yet is because we've given him a take it or leave it low ball offer. And he's deciding whether or not to retire...and maybe waiting to see if someone gets injured so there's another team bidding for his services.
 
Carr retired. Another option for AR?
He seems like he would like Crayfish better than Pittsburgh cuisine

Archie Manning played in NO; With Carr done, it wouldn't surprise me to see them aggressively try to grab Arch the grandson......

Justin Fields only won 5 games his last year in Chicago, in 13 starts.

Russell Wilson won 7 games in 15 starts for Denver.

I know this is going to come as a shocker, Joe Burrow only won 9 games last year... Are you saying you wouldn't take Joe Burrow?

Putting all the blame on one player is just dumb.

Well if you choose a negative number on the graph that you feel would represent Tomlin, go a few more points back to represent the acquisition of Rodgers.

I feel it sets the franchise back because Rodgers is old and ain’t gonna be around much longer.
Whether it be Howard or by miracle Rudolph, we need to start kicking the tires immediately in order to start looking for our future QB I say!!!!

You cant just blame / praise the QB for wins / losses, but Burrow lost because Cinci's defense was awful. Chicago had a decent D w/ Fields and the Jets D was not bad. Rodgers was pretty awful in most of the Jets games I saw. Many people picked the Jets to be a playoff team with Rodgers which was not close to materializing. Wilson was not terrible w/ Denver but wasnt able to elevate the team and seemed to have personal conflict w/ the coaches. Fields just never fully caught on whether it was coaching or weapons or whatever.
