Report: Aaron Rodgers Is At Steelers Facility On Friday

There’s also a metaphor that represents the never ending criticism of Tomlin…like beating a dead horse.
Nothing’s gonna happen.
I think he'll walk away after this contract he'll come to realize there's no running from the playoff record and it will just be time to go if he's looking at something like 16 out of 20 seasons with no playoff win. The next guy will come in and give a badly needed shot in the arm much like Cowher did if we're fortunate.

trading up for an undersized ILB was always wrong. I don't mind giving up a load of draft picks for an elite rookie QB prospect
But here is the thing. You are gonna pay that load for the privilage of watching them win 9 or 10 games and being on the outside or destroyed in wildcard. Instead of just naturally being where this franchise is. Top ten drafter.

An 11 point lead is not a stomping...
Right now it's tough to stomp teams when they can't put up points. If I counted right, 26 games of 21 points or more since 2021--only 6.5 games per season. In 2020, they had 12 games of 21+ points. It's part of the reason I don't like the smoke around getting another TE rather than a WR. They don't through enough to the one they have now and I'd prefer another outside weapon, even if it's a guy like Keenan Allen who would primarily just be a chain move.

completely but respectfully disagree, Tomlin even with all his failures will get this team to 8 to 9 wins, look what he did having Mason and the Duck, and then with Trubisky/KP/Mason. The guy will get the team to still draft in the high teens no matter what.

I wouldn't expect top 5 with Mason. But it's a much bigger cost from the 20s and what are you getting out of it.

Washed up Ben threw for 55 TD's, 7500+ yards and completed 65% of his passes in the two seasons after his elbow surgery, Kordell and Neil weren't better than that version of Ben.
It's not always about the passing as I recall Ben was very limited throwing the ball downfield and was pretty much a statue in the pocket. His 65% was strongly tied to those dink and dunk passes that the offense was getting away with till Washington came to town and then it was a wrap. I'm curious what the YAC was during those two years because Ben threw for his lowest avg yds a pass those two years. I knew I didn't call him noodle arm for nothing.

I do agree he was still a better option then Neil O Donnell who was worse then I thought he was. I don't think I would have started washed up Ben over Kordell though even though his decision making wasn't the greatest.
