I'm pretty sure Neil still feels those.

The only stat that really matters right now, is NO PLAYOFF WINS in the past 8 seasons. Only 3 in the past 14 seasons.
I have asked by A I buddy IZ to chime in on it,”And of those 3 playoff wins, one was a gift by the Bengals being the idiots they are and the other 2 the Steelers beat scrub quarterbacks.
This paints a pretty sad picture, but it's truth . They celebrate the mediocrity of .500 now like it's some type of great accomplishment.
Then when I hear "we're chasing championships here" I just chuckle. No you're not. There's been absolutely no progression towards that at all. It's all been downhill since 2010.
They couldn't do **** with Ben,Brown and Bell in their prime.
That defense will get exploited by elite teams every single time anyway.
Under this regime, I don’t see a Super Bowl contender.
All I see is a team going all in to try and get that 1 playoff win.

Exactly. I don't see that playoff win happening this year though. That’s what this season is all about for the Mike
Get that 1 elusive win
Then he can preach that indeed his system works
Mike and Aaron are “all in” together all in for 1 win
The stage was set against the Cowboys we had solved their running game and Kirkland had busted through and sacked Aikman before the punt and the Steelers had all the momentum and really should have won that game. The Cowboys won that game running on fumes at the end.If he doesn’t we sure do.
The scary thing is that mentally Art could give Shades a de facto 10 year extension with just one 15-14 playoff victory. That’s what this season is all about for the Mike

I would venture to guess…80 to 90 percent of those wins were less than one score games..108-1-1. 110 games with at least an 11 point lead, seems pretty regular.

Doubt it was that high, but don't know and don't care. Doesn't change the fact he was almost perfect with an 11 point lead. Guess it comes down to your definition of stomping opponents. I think being pretty much unbeatable when up by 11 fits.I would venture to guess…80 to 90 percent of those wins were less than one score games..
Could be wrong but that seems like it was..

Getting that 1 point victory without JPeezy causing an opponent to go bat crap crazy is gonna be a tall task.
They may wanna resign him as a position coach if they’re seriously “all in” cuz they’ll need to pull out ALL the stops to persevere in that blowout 15-14 victory.
May want Muth to steal Kelce’s girl too so we can have the refs on our side …no stone left unturned. The effort lately hasn’t been enough, OBVIOUSLY
For all his talents, to your point he has always seemed a tad careful and technical. That makes a lot of sense.Heard Steve Palazzolo, formerly of PFF and now with The 33rd Team, on 93.7 The Fan this week. Said sometimes Rodgers avoids the MOF on his own, part of the reason his INT numbers are so low. Also cited that as a reason for the lack of 4th Q comebacks in his career, he’ll take sacks to avoid possible INTs, even late when trailing.

I truly hope I am surprised by the “change” that Coach Tomlin has spoken of.

Hope is a double edged sword as well as Aaaa-Ron has also shown a unique ability to get coaches fired lol in addition to his on-field prowess. He’s not the BEN when it comes to gun-slinger. Ben slung it and had so many come from behind wins that that trait alone contributed heavily to the Tomlin-ships.
I’m hoping the Aaaa-Ron can win some games, when trailing late. That trait is needed inb this scheme of an offense.

HOPE, is all I got for about the next 4 weeks, then real football begins.

The upgrades to the hand eye coordination over the entire team will be obvious…OBVIOUSLY
In addition to the ping pong table the men will now have the benefit of air hockey, foosball, ski ball, a full size slate pool table and dart boards in the training room.
This will obviously give the men the skill necessary to finally put the pudding back in the box and if trivial pursuit is added too (rumored to be coming in on Friday) they just may be able to identify the ingredients of a hot dog as well!!!
superbOWL here we come
We can build these dreams together
Nothings gonna stop us now!!!
