I agree with the team building. I just hope someone talks sense into the coaching staff. I feel we currently have the team to win a playoff game, but not the coaching. With a better QB / defensive game plan I feel we can be pretty competitive with most teams. We just lack any sort of aggressiveness on both sides of the ball.
 
Pull the offer, roll with Mason, Howard, and Thompson. Mason led them to 3 straight wins to save the 2023 season and had them within 7 of Buffalo in the 4th quarter.

I’d rather see him try and if he fails, give Howard a shot. Howard is a smart distributor, surely he can run this dumb offense.

I've witnessed High School offenses that were more elaborate than this ancient system of simplistic concepts.

There’d be more faith in this aspect, had the offensive line coach Ben replaced.

I see the line improving due to the obvious position reasons, Pat will have minimal impact on the improvement.

Agreed, but it's not just Pat. Tomlin injects himself into EVERY aspect of the front office. I'm watching a show about the Steelers, forget the name as I just started it, and the scouts were interviewed, and they were talking about the Senior Bowl and how it's "so impressive how involved Coach T is in the process". I'm just shaking my head. I'll put money down that Mike Tomlin is in the cafeteria kitchen overseeing the food prep and cooking process like an American version of Hells Kitchen. I'll bet the Maintenace crew can't change out a faulty light bulb unless Mike is there to observe. He surrounds himself with "YES" men and uses them as scape goats to obstruct himself from the hotseat.

Absolute maddening.

i wouldn't pull the offer, but i'm also optimistic about rudolph this year and would like to see some packages for howard, though he isn't the runner fields was.

just some of the flashes he's shown coupled with the qb class in next years draft. still pissed about fields, but w/e. if rodgers retires and rudy flops, then we'll prolly have a good enough pick to get good qb in the draft. if not, then it means rudy did well enough.

With Sullivan getting canned maybe there’s hope Rodgers will come in and ask for a new OL coach too 🤣. I’d take a year of Rodgers if it meant ridding us of Pat…and I can’t stand Rodgers.
