Report: Aaron Rodgers Is At Steelers Facility On Friday

Pull the offer, roll with Mason, Howard, and Thompson. Mason led them to 3 straight wins to save the 2023 season and had them within 7 of Buffalo in the 4th quarter.

I’d rather see him try and if he fails, give Howard a shot. Howard is a smart distributor, surely he can run this dumb offense.
We might see Howard sooner than we want. I think Rudolph can be a guy who wins games, but he isn’t mobile and thanks to Tomlins terrible coaching staff our oline full of high draft picks plus a high value free agent can’t seem to pass protect to save their lives. Rudolph hasn’t been very durable either over the years.

Which makes the current QB room post draft even more inexcusable.

Surely you can't be serious

not sure these situations are relatable

we have seen rudy play for the Steelers and other teams....he has not shown to be a quality starting QB

Donovan Smith would be great competition for Skyler in that QB3 role. Why does he get a clear path to the roster?

Tryna materialize the whole no Rodgers thing.

Can’t tell me another QB flyer wouldn’t have been better asset allocation than the guys we took in the 7th.

Did anyone scoop him up yet or is there still a chance for us to “draft” him in the 8-9th round?

I don’t see that as a negative, this is not a Super Bowl roster, kick the tires on Mason one more time and go to the pre-ready rookie if necessary.

I believe the first OTA's are coming up quickly. If he isn't signed by then, they need to move on. Give the reps to Rudolph and Howard. They need to know who is in their QB room and who might be the starter; otherwise, they can't really communicate what the O will end up looking like. I know this is wishful thinking and common sense, but again, Tomlin's mancrush will hold out hope until the season starts for a decision from Rodgers. Just move on already.

I still think it will end up being Rodgers. Probably at a pretty team friendly number (especially compared to his Jets contract or the numbers that were getting thrown around at the beginning of the off season).

But I wouldn't be opposed to Mason / Howard.

I think we've done a decent job building up the team in the last few years (although I'm very worried about Jones).

Having a down year this year when we're pretty clearly gunning for a QB next draft wouldn't be bad IMO.

Although we would have made the playoffs in the current format in the Mason / Duck year...and Mason is better now than he was then IMO. My guess that Howard is at least a push with Duck. Although I did love Duck's confidence on the field.
