I disagree. these morons are hilding parts of our nation hostage, trying to have a separate government. It needs to be put down.

It's a trap. They should be dealt with by the proper authorities. They want Trump to send in the armed forces so they can have a photo of U.S Military personnel taking over part of a city. Again just back off and allow the mayor and governor to look like the fools they are. Allow the business owners to suit the city and state.

I agree. Could also be a trap for Trump politically. Let Seattle own the problem. If it starts to manifest in more large cities, then a more robust federal response may be necessary.

It's not Trump's responsibility to clean up the sidewalk feces in Pelosi's District either.

All politics are local as once said.

If I'm Trump, I know they are eager to use the Katrina playbook to pin blame for decades of city and state leadership failures on the POTUS. Don't let them do it nor create their martyrs.

Trump has a lot of cards to play here. The worst one is going in right now and taking responsibility for Oregon's mess. He could cut the state off from federal funds if he wanted to do that.
