Rodgers Signing with Black n’ Gold

ESPN and Adam Schefter confirming Aaron Rodgers will fly to Pittsburgh and sign one year contract and be on site next week for mini camp.
What say you? Good move, bad move?
Only question I have is how much $$$$$ will it take to win 9 games this year?

Given what their QB options have been this offseason, I'm OK with it, especially with the drama not dragging into training camp.

I would have liked to see what Rodgers could have done with both Metcalf and Pickens, but even without Pickens, there's still a decent chance he is better than Wilson or Fields were for them last year

Mike Tomlin’s future should be tied to this — if it is a success, extend him. If not, time to move on.

And by success, AFCC Game or bust.
You definitely want Tomlin gone because there's no way Rodgers holds it together for half a season. He is beyond a has-been, it's difficult to remember when his play spoke louder than his conspiracy theories.

I respect the experience and skills of the pros handling this matter but I also have to question why they would even consider signing Rodgers.

Rodgers is more of a prima donna than Ben with the same declining skill set, ego, narcissism. The battle that will inevitably occur between Tomlin and Rodgers will make this team a joke this year.

The Good....the Bad....and the Ugly(Move).

Why sign Rodgers?

He is the missing piece Tomlin has been looking for to get us over the.....hump. 🤔

His biggest "conspiracy theory" ended up making him look pretty smart. That's all I'll say in response to your gibberish.

Puts us back to square one.
We weren’t going to no Super Bowl. I wanted a washed up Ben to retire at least a year before he did so that we could begin the process of finding our next quarterback.
I can feel it again. Now we have another washed up quarterback with a big ego who will hang around a year or two and we will have nothing to show for it.

Nothing. It's just stupid

This feels like a stupid move, IMO. Not liking this.

That being said, as soon as that ink is on the contract, GO ROGERS!

I’m with you.
I’m a Steeler fan. I root for whoever wears the Black and Gold.
Hope like hell Rodgers will turn out to be the answer.

Well, if this ends up bad with Rodgers this season and we don’t even make the playoffs, will be interesting to see who the scapegoat will be.
I’m not trying to be negative, hell I hope he leads us to a division title and a deep playoff run, I really do.
Playing devils advocate, what if it blows up? Will Rooney finally start making wholesale changes or do nothing?
