Roethlisberger ‘Disappointed’ in AB

And moved on. And who said dont say anything to him. Exactly SAY IT TO HIM.. Not the media. Dont breakdown the play what your read was etc etc. Again what purpose does it serve but add to it
You don't think Ben and Tomlin have said things to him in the past, obviously it's not getting through. Cook and Poni asked him to break down the play, he didn't just start going on about the play on his own. Tomlin called him unprofessional to the media two days later, said it could cause a distraction to the media two days later. Ben is the captain and the guy that was showed up again. Talking in private isn't working so now answer the question how he wants.

Seriously smh. I dont have any problems with Ben except playing at the level of the other franchise QBs consistenly. Taking what is there. Because that is what separates him from those guys. Take whats there
Define other franchise QBs?

It has been said to him. This isn't the first time he has done this ****. This go back a number of seasons. And after being told one on one by his coach. Team leader(s) he still does it. And as I said above, When Heath Miller tells you to shut the **** up then you ARE a problem.

Aside from that, he doesn't have a radio show so he can say "we talked and now it's time to move on." Love when we don't get the "coach speak" from guys in the NFL and I really miss the trash talk from the early 2000s from the Steelers defense. Things were a lot more exciting back then.

Look, It should have never escalated to what happened Sunday on the sidelines. Had Tomlin handled this business with the selfish Brown long ago and not treated him like a special case, then most likely Sunday’s embarrassment for the team never happens. Tomlin is suppose to be the ******* head coach of this football team and that also means disciplinarian when needed. Tomlin should have been ripping his *** years ago before it got out of hand with the pouting, celebration penalties and least we forget, last years locker room video.
You want to blame someone then put it on Tomlin for not handling this from the beginning. You cannot have rules for 52 players and then special rules for Brown.

Brown is a special talent but if this shut continues you have to wonder what the breaking point will be for the team.

Ben did today what he should have done a long time ago but held his tongue for fear of upsetting the ducking drama queen, Good thing Brown plays in the league today rather than say 20-25 years ago. He would have been told to shut the **** up.

LMAO at this entire ******* thread. AB's act is getting old? BWAHAHAHA. People are acting like the score was 26-9 when this took place, when in fact it was 3-0. Had Ben had an extra .5 seconds to go thru his progresssion again he sees Brown WIDE THE **** OPEN. It COULD have been a huge turning point in the game. And Brown understands how our games with Baltimore USUALLY go. He even addressed this HIMSELF after the game when asked about it.

Here's one article with Brown quotes about the WIN. https://www.all22.com/pittsburgh-steelers/antonio-brown-still-havent-hit-stride

Here's another with another Brown quote, http://www.post-gazette.com/sports/...er-Le-Veon-Bell-Steelers/stories/201710010229

“It’s like a kid being excited for Christmas,” Brown said after the game. “You work on it. You’re expecting that play on that day. Sometimes it doesn’t work out. You move on.

Looks like a lot of hoopla over nothing to me. But I guess I don't have an agenda other than watching the Steelers win. No fire the coach, no sit the star players, no run the HOF QB out of town (again), just win. Right now we're winning ugly, and I'd rather have ugly wins in Sept/Oct than ugly losses in Dec/Jan.

The team as a whole hasn't hit it's stride, we haven't peaked, some teams are peaking and have a history of peaking early and fading late (KC comes to mind).

So he acted like the kid at Christmas that didn't get the toy he wanted from Santa. As I said above. You have to take the good with the bad with AB. While a great player he his a horrible teammate.

AB is a great receiver, no question, but he’s too damn selfish and with antics like he pulled is a poor example to the young guys.
I think Ben has grown tired of it all and I applaud him for speaking up. Brown needs to put his stats aside and focus on what’s important, winning and not whining.
Hopefully this does not influence Ben to force the ball to Brown to keep him happy. We shall see!

Once the TD was made, Ben LOCKED in on AB for the two point conversion and even chucked it into heavy coverage that AB never made the catch..................Zeroing in

Salute the nation

He said he wanted team unity in the locker room after the player vote which was close, but I guess if he was on the sidelines, it did not apply to him.

No ****, I thought that was kind of odd............. I would think the coach would be right next to what was decided for two reason but the most important would be to not just say but to SHOW team unity.

Salute the nation

Perhaps Ben should have gone over and thrown the water cooler after AB cost him a pick by not holding on to the friggin ball. Won't happen because Ben only cares about winning. Not so much with Brown. Like so many others he has turned in to a diva.

Whatever his beliefs are he said they should be done on their own time. On their free time
But he left the decision on what to do up to a player vote...seems to me that is directly contradicting the protesting on their own time.

I don't ever question Browns desire to win. Check the last play against the Ravens on Christmas.

It's well known he has tons of drama in his personal life and all that. I'm sure he pisses people off but if you check his social media he has many friends on that team. They love him. Family is family.

Maybe cause he also understands that what he believes might not be what someone else believes

I don't think it's AB's desire to win that is the issue at hand at the moment.

Christ almighty, the issue is about a guy throwing a tantrum during a football game, which was a win over a big rival, and you guys still want to talk about the national ******* anthem. And people wonder why **** never gets accomplished in this country. Thank god you guys arent on the team, no focus on the task at hand.

I see a collection of All star talent, I don't see a team. 2005 Superbowl team was a TEAM., Thats what got them on the long road winning streak that allowed them the wildcard spot, and the superbowl win. This team Has the #1 RB and #1 WR in the league and a hof quarterback. One is filling out applications at dairy queen, another threatened retirement, and Brown flipped a cooler on the sideline. I say in the grand scheme of things Brown is the most stable and consistent contributor on this team. Like it or not, we lose to the Browns week one without Antonio. Thats pretty obvious.
This team is like a lucrative business that is being mismanaged and headed into the ground. All the pieces are there, but there in nobody manning the ship. The Steelers handling of the anthem and the locker room fiasco just put a magnifying glass on the ineptitude of the orginization from the top down. No leadership. No matter what side of the anthem debate you are on, we can all agree it was a pr disaster, and did nothing but divide the locker room on some level. How the orginization did not see this coming is unbelievable? Are they really that stupid? This is not a team with good chemistry, i hope a winning streak can get them on the right track, and cover up the many warts.

You have to buy into the whole Team concept. Not everyone does. It is what makes the difference from being a good team or a great team. You can have less talent and be a great team. And a team can have more talent but only be a good team. The Bus said it all. He stated the 2005 team was not the most talented Steeler team he was on but it was a TEAM first team. Everyone bought into it. That one lone statement says it all. I don't know if this team will ever buy into it.

What about the National Anthem? I haven't heard. There's an issue there?

Good lord! ESPN is absolutely blowing this Ben/AB thing way up. Man, these guys are desperate to hear themselves talk.

Exactly the reason you keep "tighted lipped" and handle internally...without public fanfare and unnecessary media drama..

Now this can all blow up because a man's character, who btw has a big ego to begin with, is being PUBLICLY challenged.

Jalen Ramsey will be matched up with him. I doubt they focus on Brown this week. He will likely have a rough day.
You mean during the "Lev Bell Show" Repeat?
The Jags Run D is suspect and if Bryant or Ju Ju start getting loose forcing a change in the Jags coverage maybe Brown get a few. But I think #26 might be doing an encore here.

You know damn well Haley will throw it 40 times.

As a PepsiCo rep, I couldn't be happier that Gatorade coolers are getting the recognition they deserve. We usually have to wait until the end of the season for coaches to have Gatorade poured on them, to get that type of branded soft advertising.

Thanks AB!!
