I hate this trade. If they traded up 10 picks last year when they should have, they could have had LB Tremaine Edmunds or S Derwin james. or LB Vander Esch. All are bettter prospects than Bush.
This just seems like an overreaction to prior mistakes.
This likely means you can say goodbye to getting a Safety to push Sean Davis. It also means a much lesser CB prospect in the 3rd.
Also, if you are paying that heavy a price, why not grab Montez Sweat or Rashan Gary?
Steelers just said they think Bud Dupree and Sean Davis are good enough starters.

if they can get Isiah Johnson in the 3rd, this will be a great draft
Well Colbert says they don’t use a trade value chart but the classic Jimmy Johnson trade value chart has the 10th pick being worth 1300 points and the Steelers picks add up to1282 points. (I had to assume next years 3rd would be the same spot as this year.). Fair value.

no, they said Barron and Vince are lacking and we need to address the huge black hole in the center of the defense.
Durpee is gone after this year. He'll either play himself to a large contract or we won't want to pay him for the same play he's done.
Davis may be better this year and we can still address either position later.
Sweat had a heart condition and Gary had a shoulder issue.
