Rudolph to Patriots?

Seems like a Bill move. And if it doesn't work out, he can hire him as the OC.

Bill had his chance this offseason and didn't sign Mason. That was before he knew he was cutting Zappe though. I can't imagine the Pats don't sign either Zappe or Cunningham to the 53 man before the first game. Imagine going into a game with 1 QB and then he gets put into concussion protocol in the first quarter lol. But if an injury would happen I could see a trade happening. I think there's several teams a busted throwing hand finger away from calling us. I don't care if it was for Mitch or Mason I would at least be listening to offers.

Week 1 Matt Jones is the lone Pats QB… in pregame warmups he pulls a groin and then out of the Tunnel comes the newest add to the Pats roster… is that Mason Rudolph? … nope its just the latest version of the clone of Tom Brady… now with kung fu action grip and lavender scented farts…

Steelers aren't trading Mitch. You can say it a thousand times or imply it a thousand different ways but they see Rudy as the red nosed third stringer, and nothing more.

And neither did any other NFL team except the Steelers, who gave him 20% of what they paid him last year to be their third-string quarterback. Just can't figure that one out, can you?

Cool… Old man cheaty mccheatpants seems to like crappy QBs… must be pining for Brady… maybe he has a bottle of his special juice left over to spice up their arms a bit…
He is out of luck Ernie retired.

Rudy is here for the season::::::::::::::::::::

Tiss the season……………………..

Salute the nation

I bet the Pats have gotten calls from every GM trying to trade them one of their backups.

Belichick thinks he can win in the NFL with a garbage qb. Remember when he used cam Newton?

So because dimwits online keeping fanning the flames of this Mason to the Pats thing.. let me put it into perspective…

The Pasterisks are a recent rival of the Steelers and are well despised among the fans. Rumors are that Cheatin Billy is on a really hot seat…

The P* are also potentially directly competing with the Steelers for a playoff spot in a loaded AFC.

The P* are also on the schedule this season…

Why would you do anything to help that team out? Barring a gross overpayment, of course…

I don’t think the steelers are going to part with a guy with that much playbook knowledge to a rival they play this season unless its a deal they can not pass up lol…

Remember rumors were last year Kahn refused to part with him for a middling pick… i don’t see why that would change at this point in time

Interesting how quality QBs can make a head coach look better than he may actually be.
Cowher had absolute average QBs for most of his coaching tenure until Ben came along but still managed to win and get to championship conference games.
Quality QB makes the difference. Look at KC with Andy Reid. Was a good coach in Philly with a decent QB in McNabb and was a good coach in KC with Alex Smith. Now he’s a GREAT coach in KC with Patrick. It’s all about the quality of your signal caller.
Here we had a franchise QB in Ben but managed to appear in only two SBs from 2007 to 2021 under Tomlin. Just sayin’! But we never had a losing season! Hahaha!

Everyone can talk about Belichik. I don't like him either and cheating played a part of this too. But to win SBs you need the horses. He no longer has the horse at QB. But making it sound like it was only Brady is ridiculous. They turned the team over three or four times during that run. It was Brady and getting guys Brady could use as chess pieces and then it was Belichik and defense. If you are gonna make it sound like that then what about Noll after the 70s team was done?

Yep and throw in and extra dose of cheat mixed in with a heaping mixture of cheat then to top of the cream a le cream a sprinkle of cheat to give it just the right texture. I hear in New England they consider this recipe better than clam chowder.

Brady had a lot to do with his success. So did the cheating. Belichik is not the G.O.A.T. people say he is.
