Saturday playoffs games.

Carr is not it. He’s a decent QB. You can make the playoffs with him but he’s not a killer. Josh Allen is a killer. You can see the difference in the two of them. Playing against Carr means you play disciplined and don’t give up the easy stuff and you can stop him. Allen makes you defend every inch of the field.

Carr looks for the safe play. Allen looks for the best play.

The Steelers are in the market for a QB. I don’t want a Cousins or Carr who will just waste maybe 10 years of a franchise being pretty good but unable to get over the top. I’d rather roll with Mason as a placeholder and swing for the fences on a great QB rather than draft or sign a merely good QB.
This is why I think if they roll the dice with a QB in the first year this year it will be Malik Willis. Not saying he'd be my choice, but of the guys at the top of the draft, he has the highest upside as the biggest playmaker.

I mean if Carr gets displaced and he is cheap id take him, but you are right… the best case scenario for Rudolph is he turns into Carr… a guy like Allen you hope turns into a lesser version of Big Ben… it would be better to try to get a young draft pick in a year or two with allens upside….

And in steps the refs since the pats are doing dick on their own.

Do you know the scenario I really would not mind happening…. Wilson getting moved to tge NYGiants and the giants cutting ties with Daniel Jones. That guy has had some struggles but has flashed serious talent…

Thats the kind of change of scenery that could pay serious dividends especially as the new staff won’t have ties to him and he may come cheap if they do make a play for another big name qb

Part of me wonders how accurate that is - statistically he's not bad. However, the Raiders haven't exactly been a model of success if that makes any sense. If you put him on the Steelers with that defense, and a few weapons, he might be good enough to take your team where you want to go.

That being said - if you're the Raiders and you hire a new coach, do you hire a coach who will be forced to work with Carr like Miami is intending on doing with Tua, or do you hire a coach and let him bring in his own guy? If the latter - you might be able to get Carr for less than a first rounder, which in that case, is worth taking the risk on.

Were the chiefs a model of success before mahomes? How about the bills before Allen? The point is that great QBs elevate their team and overcome weaknesses. Good QBs need a great team to carry them.

Buffalo is playing pissed off.

Can't blame them, the've been cheated on for so any years that it's finally pay back time (not by cheating). Ernie is gone and those tapes aren't quite working for whoever took ernie's place.

Tomlin for Carr, if you don't like him you can always trade him again

How can anyone root for that cheating organization? Sorry berm but that's a no no.

They ****** us outA two, possibly three chances to play for a SB. Their cheating started way before they got caught, just remember that.

I've been thinking about it and at first i was thinking of getting a guy like Carr or Coisuins if available but now i'm thinking that could be even worse than having a bad QB.

I'd rather have a bad QB and lose and have the steeler actively looking for that franchise QB than bring somebody like Carr who wins enough to fool yourself into thinking you can win it all with him.

With Mason at QB, even if he plays fairly well, i doubt anybody will have the mindset that the QB situation is solved. But a guy like Carr? They'd probably assume QB is all set and then they'd keep doubling down to win with him year after year.

Hard for bill to find another guy as qualified as Ernie. Plus you would have to convince the guy not to say anything to anyone ever. Hard to get back to that point.

That's why I'm all bummed at the moment. It takes a long time to find those kinda guys. The Steelers have had Bradshaw &Ben who got it done.

Buffalo looks awfully tough. I have only watched a few minutes but they are keeping the petal to the metal and have not taken a single play "off".

Yeah this is years of frustrating coming out for Buffalo..spanking that ***. Keep it rolling hard. **** the pats****. Keep kicking them.

I for one LOVE it

27-0 **** the cheatriots

ONLY thong that could be better is if t*mmyb*y was still there

Daniel Jones is interesting. He has looked good at times, but the Giants have been so bad it's hard to judge him. The OL is awful so he's mostly running for his life. Saquon has been injured so no run game. Golladay was the big free agent move at WR and he basically missed the whole year and so did 1st round WR Kadarious Toney.

Some people were wondering if Josh Allen was a bust after his first few seasons but the team had no weapons at all. They brought in Diggs and all of a sudden he came alive. A great QB elevates his team but he can't raise a team from the dead by himself.
