Three keys:
- Defense has to be aggressive. No 10 yard cushions. Play in their face, and take the risk of a few big plays as long as we get to Mahomes often.
- Offense has to try and grind it out. Heavy running game, but don't be afraid to throw on first down to make 2nd/3rd down manageable. Move the chains and keep Mahomes on the sideline.
- Win the turnover battle.
MJD says in order to win they Steelers need to score more than the Chiefs.

This game is pure gravy and I have zero expectations for a win. Would love to see a competitive game with Ben going down fighting against a better opponent dragging the Steelers with him. If the NFL Gods are watching, the Steelers win in some sort of last second heart thumping play. Hey, I'm actually pretty excited about the future with this team going further than I ever expected.

Watt did play against the Chefs. He wasn't out, but I can understand why you thought he was. He played over half of the snaps, but was nearly invisible with one lone tackle, no sacks, and zero QB pressures.
He'll be much healthier for this game, so your point is still well-taken.

I see us going heavy on runs with Claypool and McCloud this Sunday......you know because we have use them sparingly of late and they worked perfectly against the Ravens so expect to see it a bunch.
If yinz remember about ten years ago (has it really been that long?) we used to crack about Bruce Arians licking the windows on the short bus and a ****-flinging monkey picking the plays, I never thought I'd say this but Matt Canada is worse.

It's such an odd thing seeing some of these offenses they trot out year after year. Much of the time it makes no sense.
Our defensive strategy of leaving the middle of the field wide open for a solid 6 years had me convinced the DC was eating lead paint chips for breakfast. Oh and playing way off your guy. That's why the pats**** always carved them up. Yet they never even attempted to adjust this scheme that was always going to fail and did so in epic fashion.
And after a while other teams started copying the Pats******* game plan and using it to beat us too. You don't have to be Tom Br*dy, just a reasonably accurate QB.
That's what used to piss me off about the Pats******* beating us all the time. Sure they cheat and knew what we were going to do but after a while we knew what they were going to do too.

Problem is Canada doesn't want to rent any of my **** flinging Monkeys. Keep in mind my **** flinging Monkeys have standards and NONE of them are willing to be rented by O' Canada.
RON, I remember well that era as "the bruce" was my biggest customer and he had one special **** flinging monkey that worked rather well with him..... like they understood each other's language. NOW before anyone draws a conclusion of romance know this I TOOK CARE OF AND MADE SURE ALL MY RENTAL(S) WERE TREATED PROPERLY AND CARED FOR IN A PROFESSIONAL MANOR. ALWAYS WAS A TRAINER/HANDLER PRESENT SO AS NOTHING COULD HAPPEN. NO OVERNIGHT STAYS.
Yes my rental business is still active and doing well. The STEELERS continously approach me but when it's time for Matt, he always is a no show.

Up tempo offense and not allowing the crowd noise to effect every play taking so long at LOS
Let Ben audible out pending on what defense shows
Edmunds and Sutton on Kelce?
Haden on Hill with Minka defending deep
Guessing the line will be Moore - Glue - JC - Turner - Chunks
