Sorry. About half thought Ben's last year was 2020-21. They reworked his contract and will continue to pay salary cap on it next season. They paid a lot for a one year contract on Juju. They made draft pick costing trades for Schobert and Witherspoon. They made picks in the first two rounds intended to give Ben maximum weapons but a running back is a 6 year player not a ten year player. That was retool not rebuild. You are looking at 3-5 years now and this year added a year too it. They are gonna need a qb and at best that will be in the '22-'23 draft. Won't be this year.

It's year 1 so that was a baby step. D-line got a little facelift too. Loudermilk and Adams are serviceable players that will stick and Witherspoon is the best ballhawk we have at CB. You can't rebuild the team in one season lolz. Not sure if you can take yes for an answer. You'd much rather argue semantics.
I hear you but we've had that in years past so it's nothing new. The only thing new will be we don't have a franchise QB who can win games every time he steps on the field with whoever is around him. We won't have that for at least a few years. Hopefully, it won't be 2 decades like the last time.
Well I'm arguing because the oline was pretty much hot garbage, you quote two serviceable players and a UFA so no I don't think anything significant towards the rebuild occurred.
The no read perimeter passes were because the O-line was worthless at that point. Once they changed personnel and saw they could run, the North South stuff started...

Sorry but this is complete BS. Have you watched the difference between our 1st halves and 2nd halves all year long? Ben has no problem throwing the ball 10-20-30+ yards downfield. It's the play calling. Sure, as I've said countless times, our O-line sucks, Ben misses a few throws, and our WR's drop some passes and run wrong routes but you CANNOT dispute the difference in the halves and the fact that a magic switch seems to be turned on and Ben moves us down the field for scores late in games this year (especially the 2nd half of the season when Canada was forced to start putting back in some sort of the hurry-up/no-huddle offense he completely removed from the offense prior to the season) to bring us back and win games. Calling a quick throw with no reads (which Canada does in all 4 quarters of every game) behind the line on 3rd and 10 is an absolutely assinine call. You call a quick 10-yard play or something where your guy has momentum heading toward the sticks and not where he has to catch it behind the LOS, start from zero, accelerate, and hope he can beat the entire D 10+ yards to the sticks. I don't think that play call has worked once this year and it won't work no matter who the QB is. Yes, that is on Canada with or without Ben. Canada shouldn't get another chance. He's made no adjustments the entire year. He calls the same bullshit in the 1st half of games now as he did at the beginning of the season. He should have adapted to what is working with the personnel he has. That is what even a mediocre coach does.

Pass rush is winded by late second half making our O-line appear average giving Ben time ..Occam's Razor friend.
