In my previous career I owned two franchises of a national service-type company for 21 years. One thing I learned is that there is never a recession in Northern California and the Washington, D.C. suburbs. The people who run the country in Silicon Valley and D.C. will be fine.

Confirmation bias I guess. Some of my lib friends bring up climate change every time there's a thunderstorm. Literally any and every kind of weather event is now a symptom of climate change and a harbinger of imminent doom. It cracks me up.

I also once posted here a list (I can't find it) of Chicken Little "The Sky is Falling" predictions from climatologists etc predicting ice ages, world wide famine, global warming, etc from the 1960s to today....from manhattan will be underwater to the ice caps will be gone to a world wide ice age etc etc. Every...single...prediction just upside down wrong.
