Sorry, but I am agreeing with Mark Madden here

I think that if Rudolph has an outstanding game tomorrow, at Buffalo in a playoff game, and the Steelers somehow pull an upset, then those whispers might begin in earnest.

Um, that was Mo Lewis of the Jets who injured Bledsoe
I remember Bledsoe getting smashed in a playoff game and hurting his chest. And Brady coming in. I think Pittsburgh lost that game

Perhaps I misremember.

Are you thinking of the '01 AFCCG? Brady started that game, but got hurt and Bledsoe had to come in to relieve him...

But yeah, the original was Mo Lewis crushing Bledsoe as he was going out of bounds and Brady came in, and the rest is history. Regular season game.

Here's the clip of it

Wow. Guess we don't have to worry about it.
I didn’t watch had to work. Sounds like if Mason had a stronger start then perhaps they do pull it off.

Was it all on Mason or was it a complete team let down?

Mason had some errant throws early that helped allow Buffalo to build their lead. And the interception from the Bills' 4 yard line was a killer, although I give a first assist to the ridiculous 5-wide formation from which they ran that play. He settled in as the game went along, but it was too late.

Not sure if Kenny would have done any better. Or worse. The better team won.

Mason was better than 80% of the Steelers that took the field

•Pickens early fumble leads to points
•DJ lazy route on pick coupled with questionable decision and great defensive play
•Defenders that can’t tackle or cover
•OTs that can’t block
•Blocking TE that can’t not false start
•Abysmal game plan with several run Najee on first and second and pray Mason and Jaylen can save your bacon on 3rd and 7 or 3rd and 9 (counted I think 6 times this was the case)
•A HC on the sidelines looking like a 🦌 in headlights

That defense should be embarrassed as should the OL and coaching staff

All true, they were simply the better team, and that surely includes better coached, prepared and QB'd: tough to overcome all that. Our HC looked like a bug in the kitchen when the lights are turned on. He had the same look in the presser when asked about his contract: "Click." Lights on, where does the bug go? Run bug, run. That's our HC. He may be good enough to beat back up QBs and teams, but a legit playoff team? Not likely. 7 years now. 7 years without a single playoff win. 7. And yet he throws threats at the team of "taking time off." Could be the best thing that's happened to this team since 1992.
