It's early.. but seems like everyone knows who QB1 is. Gonna be his job to lose.

There hasn't been competition at QB in a long time. It will be interesting watching how it progresses.

1st round BUST!!!!!!!

/Pickett haters

Obviously he has the pedigree to paint the barn, he’ll make the defense defend every blade of grass and never blink while doing it. He knows the standard and won’t live in his fears, as obviously, he was never used properly before and will look great in the black and gold.

It was obvious from the start of his signing when he invited Steelers to his home to start bonding and working together as a unit. That is leadership my friends. Not just WR's either, he had Haskins down there too. I'm really excited to see the offense this year, and I'm hoping it isn't the tired *** offense that Tomlin/Ben liked. Let Canada do his thing.

Like I said from the get go… At qb the Steelers prefer to make rookies sit and learn for a season. Pickett could tgrow for 500 yards a half and not be qb1… barring injury or Rudolph being traded, Pickett will probably be QB3 this year… that was the rumor before they even drafted a guy

C’mon Fiji!!!!! You gotta cut your eyelids off in there somewhere too! 😉

No worries, Trubisky will be great! Anyone from Ohio or OSU playing for the Steelers has been great. Ben, Lambert, Harrison, Heyward, Holmes, Shazier...
Forgot, Leveon Bell, Benny Snell, Gary Russel and a few others from Ohio.

Did anyone actually read the article?? Nowhere in that tweet is the QB competition mentioned...
Bob Quinn, the "staff writer," is a "never-Rudolpher....."

"Benny Snell football" is a University of Kentucky product, not Ohio...
Benny Snell football began at Westerville Central H.S., located in a suburb of Columbus, OH.

Thanks.
I never realized Bell was from Ohio.

Bell was born February 18, 1992, in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, to Lisa A. Bell. His mother and grandfather have been lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fans. Throughout his childhood, his mother raised Bell and his siblings by herself and struggled financially.

Growing up poor and a mom and gramps being Steeler fans you'd think he wouldn't have been such a dick towards a franchise that offered him one of the highest paying contracts ever.

I hope Pickett wins the start right away. Everyone wants to see him play in the NFL. Does anyone want to see Trubisky play? No. Rudolph no. They are both capable of nothing more than placeholder. If Pickett can't beat out a "placeholder" type of qb then perhaps he isn't as capable as many are expecting.

I kinda lean that way too hoping Pickett wins out. If he wins out then it would be an indication that the Steelers made the right pick. Trubisky isn't what anyone would consider a bad QB.

I say go with mitch out of the gate see how it goes. If he does well let him out there. If he and the team struggles start the pickett era

Provided he is used properly

Ben wasnt named the starter till injury took Maddox out. it will be the same for Pickett

True but as it was shown, BEN was clearly better than maddox and I believe BEN would have been starting by week five regardless of injury.

I hear yaz BUT highly doubt Pickett is clearly better than Mitch.
