That was not the primary definition I was working with in my pursuit of knowledge, though I guess that it could be used that way... However, I'm pretty sure I specified the context by saying "the Cunningham technique
of gathering correct information... But I guess if you're lazy, you just do what you know.... I deal in correct information... Others wear tutu's and do abstract dance....

I didn't want to brag about my brilliant application of this method to gathering information... I did not realize that it was such a chore for some people to kick their thinking up a notch... I had no idea that it really derived from that, and if you read it, that has nothing to do with gathering information. The concept I learned and applied to gathering information, was to post what I saw as a possible outcome of a football question, knowing that "the great Braintrust" Here would tell me the correct answer... and since they loved to hurl insults, they would be doing what they loved to do, AND give me the information I wanted... So it was a win-win. And since I subscribe to the "Sticks and Stones" philosophy, it was just a win....
