Stanley Cup Playoffs

This series ain't going past 5 games.

To hell with the West, have to root for the Ning.

Chicago lead the league in fewest goals allowed during the regular season (Tampa was 11th) . Tampa lead the league in goals scored in the regular season (Chicago was 16th).

Goals per game - Regular Season TB 3.20 CHI 2.79
Goals against - Regular Season TB 2.57 CHI 2.30

Goals per game - Playoffs TB 2.75 CHI 3.29
Goals against - Playoffs TB 2.45 CHI 2.94

Regular season record vs, opposing conference
TB vs. West 16-9-3
CHI vs. East 20-9-3

I am rooting for Tampa, although I think Chicago will win the Cup. Excellent deflection by Killorn. Off to a good start.

Tampa played great for 54 minutes and then **** the bed

Blowing the game in the last 5 min, gut wrenching loss for Bolts fans

I could smell it coming, just knew they would score - Crawford saved the Hawks

Incredible play by killorn to score. Tampa sat on their heels and played not to lose. Didn't work. They have to play their game, and that ain't it.

Bolts played much more desperate in this one.

No last minute heroics and they win

Two good games, so far. Was worried when Bishop left the game.

What's the deal with Bishop?

I am mightily impressed with TB.....didn't really give them much thought all season but they are young and talented and will be a contender for a long time.

Chicago on the other hand is going to lose quite a bit of talent.

One major thing I noticed about them in comparison to the Pens is that no TB player ever seems surprised by the puck.

There have been several games during rhe season where the players seemed to have every pass juuuust off the mark. It was really frustrating when you saw them so sharp the game before.

During game 1, they showed a Stat that 12 of our 24 players were under 25. Many of those played for Jon Cooper in the AHL. Seems to really help their cohesiveness.

I believe that same graphic showed 17 of 24 Blackhawks players have Stanley Cup Final experience. We have, maybe, 2 or 3. Definitely a Youth vs. Experience series. I think we *can* win it, but it will be tough. Jon Cooper has coached a team to the championship at all of the minor league levels (5 or six of them).

I didn't see what happened with Bishop. Have yet to look this morning. He missed playoffs last year and we got swept by Montreal in round 1. If he is gone, we are well and truly ******.

Dude behind me for this game and game I went to last series is a constant stream of negativity. When the crowd is yelling "Let's go Lightning " after a score, he is yelling "Play 60 minutes!" Every ******* time. Last night I heard him actually say "I hate Jon Cooper, he is going to ruin this team."

he had to take a dump. Couldn't hold it anymore. Seriously, there has been no word why he exited the game. Is he starting tonight?

2-1 series lead for the Ning. And if they had not choked away game 1, they'd be up 3-0 now.

That was a great response after the Hawks went up 2-1. Been a good series, so far. TB should be up 3-0. Saad is a beast. Pittsburgh kid does good.

I thought we were doomed when Chicago scored to go up 2-1. Momentum killer to tie it up so quickly.

3 good games.

Gives new meaning to "dump and chase."

Edit: Can't take credit. Saw that somewhere on the net.

The Bolts pounded the **** out of them the whole game, and never quit attacking

good jarb

Exciting finish. ****** ending.

Nor a bad showing for a rookie goalie, though.

it's going 7. Both teams deserve the Cup and it will be a shame one team won't win it. The Hawks will not go away. The Bolts gave everything they had to tie the game.

I'm really enjoying both Finals. Will be a shame when they are over.
