Stanley Cup Playoffs

Pretty awesome that the short handed goal that Johnson got was off of a St. Louis mistake.

Graphics showed that Johnson had a Power Play goal, a Short Handed goal and a Full Strength goal. Seemed like there were not a lot of others on the graphic (4, maybe) who have done that in what they called the 'modern era'.

Hat tricks are rare these days, and the use of specialty teams for PK and PP often means that there is little chance for overlap. Sounds like the little guy had an awesome game.

Go Ducks!

That was the first thing I thought of. St. Louis wasn't a happy camper. Johnson has been great all playoffs.

Oops...Despres. Two early pp goals For Hawks...and **** Hossa

Damn man.......didn't see the game but anyone other than Hossa...... frigging mercenary gipsy.

As for TJ, yeah he's had an outstanding po's.......shorties against a 5 on 3 gotta be pretty rare.

12 goals in 2 games - ol Hank is turning into a sieve

That game was terrific. Rangers have to be feeling pretty ******. They finally find the back of the net more than twice and still lose. And it seems no matter how sloppy the Ning get, they can overcome it and still drop a bunch of goals on the Rags. I will give the Rags credit though, at 4-2 I thought they were toast and yet they battled back.

Every time Despres does something, I want to punch Rutherford in the head. He's not Paul Coffey, but damn, what an asinine trade. I hate giving up on young talent. He is proving he can play in this league and well.

The Penguins organization seriously needs to take a look at how they develop young talent. They never gave Depres a chance, and look at the Beau Bennett situation. Sad. Let's not **** up Kapenen too.

In any sport, I feel you need a good combination of youth and experience. The Pens got older from many of the trades and acquisitions this past season and it didn't necessarily make them better. Their D will be youthful because Martin will not be back and it will be interesting if Scuds will be back. The four lines in another story. The cupboard is not stocked at WBS and money will be tight. Kapenen will get a chance. He's too good not to be on the big club and they need him.

Crazy series, Rags just won't die easy. Hard to predict how game 7 is going to go.
