This is SO obvious. They didn't draft him because Pickett ended up falling to them, and with the Pitt/Marino connection and what happened there, Rooneys were not even gonna pass on Pickett there, and when the owner mandates something, it happens. Were you really unaware of this?

I saw a blurb outta camp he has played a little OLB and a little DL. Don't know if this is just getting him some reps for emergency use or an actual test run to see if he can make a full move.
