Steelers are in the playoffs

Just a reminder, we’ve been that fizzle……….

But I hear what you are saying. I think we can get a first round win, TOMLIN is tired of hearing the no playoff win song.

Salute the nation

We have been that fizzle for a long time. And everyone should ride Tomlin's *** since the owner won't do it. It seems to do something.

Now he needs to work on his winning playoff record statistics.

Also we didn’t back into these playoff's. We needed help yes but we went in winning three straight to earn it.

Look at it how ever you want, I’m just glad we are there even if it wasn’t by our own accord.

Supposed to be 10 degrees and lower next Sunday in KC according to weatherman. Cold, cold with snow on the ground.
Sunday....high of 3....low -2. For us Canadians high of -16 low of -19 Celsius

Buffalo......a lot warmer with more snow. High of 27.... low of 19. For us Canadians high of -3 low of -7 Celsius

So good weather to run the ball in either place. It's hard to project out the weather patters for sure that far away.

Thank goodness they can run the ball now. It will make a world of difference.

Hopefully they can pass block just a little better.

Who will Tomlin start next week at QB though? Inquiring minds want to know.
It's such an interesting dynamic. On one hand, Rudolph has played better than anyone since Roethlisberger and basically has won a starting job mid season. However, how do you come back with Pickett as the starter next season if you bench him for the two most important games of the season?

It's a pickle for sure. If everyone is truly thinking team first, then it's not that difficult. Right now they've got a good groove going. If they throw Kenny in and he falters, it's a big **** storm for him and the HC.

If Mason comes in and he falters, you put Kenny in to try and save the day.

Sure Kenny knows it is a performance based league. You just hope he uses it to motivate him into more consistent play. If not it wasn't meant to be...

The Eagles "BACKED" into the playoffs. We stormed into them. 😃

Rudy is starting no doubt

We have highest SOV because we beat the BEST team in the league TWICE

We are the definition of backing into the playoffs but it works for me. In stoked

Phins are battling which means they learned a lesson from AFCN whipping

We beat them once and beat their JV team once.
With half our defense out and with ostensibly our 3rd string QB. Seems a fair matchup to me. They had plenty of starters playing. Can’t sit everyone with limited rosters. Sick of hearing the Ravens fans making that excuse. We beat Lamar by the same score and have won 7 out of 8 against them.

I hope I am wrong, but I think we had so much success running the ball because we played against 2 terrible fronts and a team playing backups. With that being said hopefully the line at least gained a little confidence. I just dont want to get the false hope that we are suddenly an offensive powerhouse considering what we played recently. The Ravens backups started getting a push mid-game and the offense fell apart for a bit. I am just not very confident in the line, but hopefully they figure it out and have jelled a bit.

Steelers will be playing at 8:00 Saturday night if they are the 6, Sunday at 1:00 if they are the 7.

No, not at least in my mind backing in would have been losing and having the Broncos win the Jags and Bills lose to get in on a loss. That is my definition of backing in. Winning three straight is a step above that but a step below clinching without help.
