Steelers are in the playoffs

So I hope Coach T makes the right choice and starts Kenny. Masons luck is about ran dry and we need our studs in!
Look I like Kenny but Mason is the guy right now. He has earned it. Kenny needs to get healthy and get his head straight. With the wind they are forecasting this will be a run and short throw game.

Lots of money must have immediately came in on Buffalo for the line to go up to 10 so quickly. I believe the over under was 43 when i looked an hour ago. Now that's down to 39.5. Pro gamblers often bet these opening lines. Seems the pros like Buffalo and under

I was surprised the O/U was in the 40s for a potential bad weather game.

Going to be a tough game. Despite some of their struggles this year, the Bills are near the top of the league in both scoring offense and defense.

They obviously have a great QB with a lot of playoff experience.

Watt being out probably gave the Steelers at least a few more points on the current betting line.

One thing the Steelers have going for them is that the Bills have been a bit soft against the run this year, as they've been near the bottom of the league in yards per rush allowed.

Need big games from Harris and Warren to control the clock and limit the Bills possessions.

Might have been mentioned but we get Kazee back from suspension now. If we get Minkah back do we keep Rowe around as well and put Peterson at Nickle? All of a sudden we get some depth in the middle of the secondary.
I totally forgot about Kaz. Good to have him back...

I have no doubt it is Rudy.
Can u imagine if he started Lenny and got the normal 13-16 that teams he leads puts up?

He has painted himself into the having to start Mason corner, ya gotta ride with the reindeer ya rode in on

The Chiefs are very vulnerable this year. I think we could have beaten them in KC. The Bills have won 5 in a row with 3 against playoff teams. They will be tough to beat.

Also we didn’t back into these playoff's. We needed help yes but we went in winning three straight to earn it.
All in the plan of the greatest coach ever

Drop 2 straight to 2 of the worst 3 teams in the league then caps it with a 3rd brutal loss getting round pounded by practice squad RBs so his guys would have to be motivated down the stretch

Great job with the coaching out the arc of the season Mike!!!

now start a record that matters, never a losing playoff season

I agree you have to go with the hot hand.

Rudy's play got them in a position to play an extra game, he earned the right to start.

I don't think there's any question you finish the season now with Rudolph. Next year is another story. I still think KP goes back to QB1 even if they do sign Rudolph. He will get his chance under hopefully an entirely new O coaching staff and hopefully he gets a new O trainer this offseason (uh, maybe the one that helped Allen fix just about the same issues KP is having).

I think if Rudolph performs well in the playoffs, he would have more than earned the chance to compete for the job.

There would be no way he comes back otherwise, IMO.

When it's last week of the season and you have half dozen scenarios for making the playoffs and all of those scenarios are "win and hope and pray" - you backed into the playoffs. I'm not even mentioning that my opponent had the conference locked up a week earlier. Let's be very honest here.

The spread is enormous which will be an extra ounce of motivation. I'm hoping for a W here and thinking of what that will look like in Buffalo against a contender. Very hopeful

If Rudolph performs well at Buffalo, he's not coming back here, he's giving Tomlin the middle finger and signing some where else.

No that’s public money
Pros wait for it to get higher and take Pitt with the higher number
The wise guys always like Tomlin as an underdog

Just for fun I checked the weather for Buffalo. They are calling for a high of 24 with high wind. Could be a day in which the better run game wins?

BTW, they are calling for a high of 4 in KC if they would have played there.

You are playing Rudolph till its over. Man the jagoffs didn't take the jump they needed this year with Lawrence. They should have been in the elite class.
They had it but then they had to go and disrespect the Towel.

I'll put this little trivia here since I can't find a thread where it really fits:

There were 8 fumbles between Steelers ravens Saturday...has that ever happened before?

December 12th 1999
Pit had 3 fumbles, 5 for the Ravens for a total of 8.
Ravens won 31-24
