The refs do suck but they suck for everyone. You can't leave you feet and hit high. Been that way for awhile now. They let a PI go against the Steelers when it should have been called. They let a clear block in the back go when Bell got a 40 yard pass. They suck but they aren't out to get the Steelers.

If by "hit high" you mean perform a textbook tackle wihout lowering your helmet or hitting the QB in the head at all.....then yeah you are right

Not sure what NFL you guys have been watching but leaving your feet and going high on a QB has been a penalty for awhile now. I've seen that called in several games. The defense should know that by now.

The officials do not have the benefit of instant replay. My initial thought it was helmet to helmet watching it live. I can see why the flag was thrown. The whining here is excessive, IMO.
