This week, the Pittsburgh Steelers interviewed three more candidates for the team’s General Manager position. As yinz know, current GM, Kevin Colbert is planning to step down.

We interviewed the following candidates for our General Manager position this week:
• Joe Hortiz (Baltimore Ravens)
• Ran Carthon (San Francisco 49ers)
• Andy Weidl (Philadelphia Eagles)

— Pittsburgh Steelers (@steelers) February 26, 2022

Hortiz has spent more than 2o years with the Ravens overseeing their scouting department. Carthon is in his first season as director of personnel for the 49ers, after serving five seasons as the director of pro personnel. Weidl is currently in his third season as the Philadelphia Eagels’ vice president of player personnel.

These three candidates join a laundry list of names whom the Steelers have been interviewing all month including Louis Riddick and Morocco Brown to name a few.

We will keep yinz posted on any breaking news!

Doesn’t appear to have found someone they like.

Doesn't matter. They will still end up with Khan and Hunt.

I don't think so. I think if they were going to do that they wouldn't have brought in 12 candidates.
