This is not on the defense. This is on the offense. Just like last week **** down their leg when we need them most. Put in Pickett. They just. Killed the defense again.

There's never any route to hold the LBs. It's either deep or short. Very easy to cover. That's why nobody is ever open

Oh for ***** sake. If you don’t notice that our Defense also chokes regularly I don’t know what to say. Yes our Offense does too. Aren’t we the highest paid D in the league. Any good team even **** ones have their way with them when it counts. Think of the playoffs,even with Watt in.
Mitch has done some good things tonight. I don't think he's done enough to take Pickett starting against the Jets off the table.
This team cannot win with this offense, period. Can't win many games in today's NFL putting up 14-17 points a game.
I guess we can win if the defense gives us 5 turnovers, and even then barely squeak by in OT.

And that is why I won’t blame the defense. You can’t go 3 and out against a pounding run game.

Matt Canada's offense with the OL playing pretty well and Trubisky making plays and we have 14 points.

The offense did hold the ball for longer times in the first half and the first drive of the second. The defense still couldn't get off the field. They are more at fault for being worn out now than the offense.
Teams use computer generated breakdowns of most likely plays a team runs in situations… our first down top 5 are definitely all some variations of run up the middle

I know we are stuck with him, but man, Trubisky is just bad. Honestly, Mason Rudolph could do this and maybe be better. Its just embarrassing how a franchise which used to be synonymous with excellence is now simply hopes to be mediocre. Tomlin is mainly worried about preserve his non losing season streak. There is no striving for excellence. This is just bad.
TJ Watt is defintely missed but he doesnt play on offense. Trubisky is just...well....a backup. That is what he is. But this is who Tomlin wanted. He actually wanted this.

Y'all talking about who's at fault, the offense or the defense, is like asking what stinks worse rotten chicken eggs or rotten duck eggs.
******* sad display of football. That run on 1st down was dumb as ****. Substandard football on both sides of the ball. Ugh.
