If the offense could score one second half Td we probably win that… but its just broken badly… 4th straight year.. 4.5 really
With the schedule we have after the Jets if we put Pickett in we risk a rookie QB getting his brains beat in running a crappy offense and losing all his confidence.Jacoby Brissett > Trubisky. That’s the reality. Pickett can’t be any worse. What do we have to lose? Should have put him in after the half.
That's the standard that is the standardBullshit how they trotted that offense out without changes. No attempt at even trying to provide a spark? Bullshit. ******* bullshit.
Really? 17 points is enough?Mitch played well enough to win this game
Did he? He left a decent amount of plays on the field. He played like a backup nothing more.Mitch played well enough to win this game
That's how low expectations have become.Really? 17 points is enough?
He played well enough for about half a quarter.Mitch played well enough to win this game
Sure they do, but even then we were still close. It doesn't matter what the defense does if the offense can't possess the ball and score. We could and should have scored more than 23. The defense wasn't great but they were good enough if the offense does anything in the second half. This is a browns team built to do exactly what they did. Yet even with a poor performance by the defense we had chances late. The offense has to take advantage of those chances not go three consecutive three and outs.Go back to where I posted the beginning of the second half. The reason they were on the field too much was because they gave up two 80-yard 12+ play drives in the first two drives of the half. You can't pin that on the offense in the least.
Yes, the offense needs to stay on the field longer. But when the defense has all of halftime, and watches a 14-play drive to start the half, they need to get off the field, not give up two consecutive long drives.
deep balls like that are not his strengths. He is better catching the ball over the middle with room to run. Pickens and Claypool should be getting those deep throws. We will never know.......but that drop by Johnson was huge
What an ending

That was the deciding factor. Just not good enough.Sure they do, but even then we were still close. It doesn't matter what the defense does if the offense can't possess the ball and score. He just got paid like an elite receiver, but he can’t run down the field…JHCdeep balls like that are not his strengths. He is better catching the ball over the middle with room to run. Pickens and Claypool should be getting those deep throws.
he wasnt Ben, but he played well enough to win. DJ dropped a catchable. Claypool dropped a ball.Did he? He left a decent amount of plays on the field. He played like a backup nothing more.
it should be. but we also missed a field goal. so that would have been 20. if the defense plays a bit better it would be a winReally? 17 points is enough?
JHC. If I said 2+2=4 would you share your know it all wisdom with that too? All I said that the drop by Johnson was potentially huge. You can’t ******* see that?deep balls like that are not his strengths. He is better catching the ball over the middle with room to run. Pickens and Claypool should be getting those deep throws.
