Steelers@clowns prediction thread

I was mistaken when I predicted the Steelers O would come alive vs. the Pats.

I meant it would happen this week.

Don't you just love when BROWNS fans call the Steelers the "Stoolers". lol
I just throw it right back at them.
 
On a short week, can Tomlin get the offense to focus? Right now we have do deal with the Trubisky and Harris combination. Big plays from the two don't mix. The run defense will be tested. Can we score 3 touchdowns on offense?

I hate to say it but right now the Browns are better.

I get the game on "PRIME" this week so that will make it all three games being able to watch at home with 0 extra to get them on TV.

I think our left tackle will have his hands full BUT has handled Miles quite well in the past

I got nothing other than try not to embarrass yourself on national TV. If they don't stop the run it's going to be a long painful night. This is your time to shine Mitch, if you got it,bring it! **** the OC. There was a time many quarterbacks called their own plays.

There is NOT a single QB on our roster mentally or reputational-ly strong enough to put O'Canada in his place. BEN could call his own plays due to his HOF status and outcome of his play calling. If Mitch could miraculously pull off his play to merit over-ride of O'Canada......... then we have a SB contender on our hands.

Just wishful thinking on my part. They don't have a running game so they will have little choice but to back defenses off by going downfield and be consistent about it. There's no reason not to. You can't advance your failing offense by doing the same over and over.

199% agree and there are ways to get that running game going should the play calling change a little. Screens / roll outs with QB legs / mid middle field passing / you get the drift. Most things we never ever call, or use would work.

Right now nothing close to the line will produce the desired results. They've been pressed up against our offense for over two years. The OL can pass block better than average. The run blocking is horrible. I can't even remember the last time this team blew open a big hole in a defense.

The talent on this offense rides on wr,te,rb catching the ball. That is really the only chance will have to open the running game this year.

Now I remember who the OC is..haha. The only reason this team didn't finish 3-5 games under .500 last year is because of Ben saving the day at the end of games last year. That stuff isn’t going to happen this year.
 
So, what's the over/under on which team, both coming off losses, comes out fired up, and over achieves?

Rhetorical question, I know, just hoping I'm wrong.
 
I'm going to go with Browns 30, Steelers 16, probably three FGs and a defensive TD or a short field set up by a turnover. This team is becoming unwatchable. Even their win in Cincy was ugly. Does anyone know how the Cincy long snapper got hurt? That was the key to the game.

2nd divisional away game of this early season on a short week doesn't look like a recipe for success but a late turnover on a booming Harvin punt leads to us stealing this one.

Worse loss to browns since the 51-0 embarrassment.
