who can predict anything with this team? The offense is garbage. It's clear this was designed for college. The wide hash marks in college mean that all these outside throws have plenty of open space. Not in the NFL. In the NFL, you have guys catching out routes and then heading out of bounds with little RAC.

I've seen clips online blaming Mitch for missing guys who are open. In these clips there are some guys who are technically open but not wide open. They are mostly tough throws into tight windows while Mitch has some pressure. In other words, it's easy to show s still image of a WR open by 5 yards but then on the film, you see a lurking safety or a LB underneath.

are there throws to be made? Yeah, tough ones. Because NOBODY is fooled by this offense.

Canada is officially on the hot seat now. His cover of blaming Ben is gone now. And with Mitch pushing back a bit this week, it seems the media is now catching on that all these short throws is the real Canada offense and it's unimaginative and easy to stop.

What now? With his butt on the line will Canada just call a bunch of deep passes? With his career on the line will Mitch decide to go down swinging and forcing some deep shots?

All very good points tapeANaspirin2it, great post.

I've said that O'Canada's college offense is designed to go against college talent. On a Professional NFL team all 11 are pro talent. The "gaps" close faster and by far way less allowance for err. It bunches the line of scrimage making everything else more difficult to execute. Don't forget the telegraph design as well. As for the pre-motion all that seems to do is draw an additional "D" up close to the line.

I'll predict three things.

1 ) A lot of short passes
2 ) A burned time out for the steelers who use a red flag to try an overturn a play that is clearly not reversible.
3) Mitch Trubisky not to audible out of any plays. Well he isn't allowed!

I cannot believe the amount of people afraid of the Cleveland Crap Fairies…
their Qb is Jacoby Brissett… the dude has been barely better than Mason Rudolph in his career… he averages like 130 yards passing a game…

They just lost in EPICALLY EPIC fashion to the New York Jokes…

They had to mount a last minute comeback against the Panthers, who were led by some Bum named Baker Mayfield…

Im more afraid that Miles Garrett is going to throw another temper tantrum if he doesn’t get a sack by halftime than I am of them running up and down the field on us and suddenly fixing their D …
 
Remember the days when Prime Time games were almost certain wins? That sure has not been the case of late.
I get abused by my so called friends at work nonstop,but hey.....I always wear the Steelers hat the next day.
I think last year when we were behind 41-3 going into the forth.....well that was just a plain ****- show.
I never bet against my team,so all I will say is come on....let’s keep this respectable.

Sometimes with this team....when all the chips are down.....when there seems to be no way.....they pull it off. They have had nation wide negative publicity all week. Show some pride boys!

I'm not afraid of them in the least, but until the Steelers O look anything that resembles an actual NFL offense, it's hard to pick them right now. Also, the Stains are at home, Thursday night against their hated rivals after getting embarrassed by the Jokes last week, I expect them to be playing a little extra PO tonight. Mac Jones is not Tom Brady, but he wasn't too shabby last week. Brissett is a crapshoot and could have one of those games. We'll see what happens. Always hoping for the best, but my gut says otherwise.
 
If I remember correctly, Mike Tomlin’s record on Thursday night is somewhere between meh and bad… his record after a bye is really good though… i just don’t know if he will be prepared enough… the good thing is this is a very early Thursday night game, so he could have done most of the prep before the season … we will see… I have faith that the Browns will turn in a Turd

Story Setting

It's been a hard fought 3 qtrs of play with the STEELERS leading 29 over the Browns 22.

nothing going right for the Browns as they are -8 in the turnover battle

Ball on the Browns 19 yard line 1:17 on the clock, 1 timeout......................................... Brisset injured as the lights dim


The Brick ****-house cracks and out of the rubble comes Ben Roethlisberger wearing #77.

Who better than the one who has tromped the lowly browns into the piss-stained ground of cleveland stadium time and time again.

Only this time he is dressed in Brown and late in the game, taking position as QB for the Cleveland Browns. Can he lead the Spectaculate return win.?

Several snaps later, a near life ending body slam and BEN is hurt but manages to huddle them up.

No time outs ball on the Steelers 8 yard line..............4th down and clock ticking 19......18......17.......

they come to center, Ben steps back into shoot gun, AUDIBALIZES 9.....8....7....6....5.....

The snap and three WRs wide open but wait................... what's BEN doing back there.......................

He takes a knee and pulls out a Microphone from his uniform sock............. (testing testing) he then bellows out

Dilly Dilly

Final score PITTSBURGH 29............................... Cleveland 22 and one last victory for the ROETHLISBERGER.
