Steelers' George Pickens Seemingly Sends Strong But Simple Message To Pittsburgh's Front Office On Social Media

GP, and the misconceptions about him, is a case largely manufactured by media hacks searching for clicks to keep there sorry careers alive cause they aren’t nearly as good at their jobs as GP is at his.

He is an easy target for click bait hacks and he frequently deals with them as well as you could expect from a young guy.

If the click bait hacks were worth their salt they could come up with some actual legit content but instead the hacks go for a perceived easy target and people lap it up…so GP deals with a boatload of unnecessary BS cuz his idiosyncrasies are beyond the realm of contemporary comprehension.

But what is much worse is when your game is so irrelevant nobody is talking about you…looking at you Van Jefferson and all the other “good guy”scrubs.

Not the media’s fault, he throws tantrums, doesn’t block, quits on plays where he’s not the primary, and is regularly late to meetings. They’re just reporting what a turd this guy is, don’t kill the messenger. There is a reason he fell to the 2nd round despite the talent, as one GM put it — he’s not even on our board, too many red flags.

Unfortunately, Tomlin loves his divas. Game recognizes game.

The Bengals OL and defense are keeping them from a Super Bowl, they had all those receivers and Burrow last year and missed the playoffs.

While the D was bad Burrow dealing with the wrist injury AND only playing 10 of 17 was the difference between them and the playoffs

And trust me when I say EVERY single playoff team would’ve preferred the Steeler to the Bengals as an opponent last year.

So yeah their D and OL weren’t good, but still not the primary reason the Bengals missed the playoffs. Even with those issues nobody wanted a piece of the healthy Burrow with 2 great receivers in the playoffs but would be doing back flips seeing a Steeler matchup.

We simply need weapons which we are building AND that solid QB

Keep lapping up the narrative…very few receivers run hard every route and even less block in today’s NFL. It is today’s receiver in a nutshell.

The guys that do block hard today are almost exclusively guys like Van Jefferson that lack talent. But sure you just love a starter that’s a try hard and puts up 200-300 yards a SEASON as a starter and I’ll take a talented guy like GP and we’ll see whose team can make plays and score points.

The tantrums stuff is just lapping away for ya tho

Reported facts are not a “narrative”.

Emeka Egbuka blocks like a mother and is a great route runner and teammate. Definitely NOT a Tomlin guy, he can’t work with a guy who has no celly game.

Tantrum is a narrative, we’ll agree to disagree

A couple times he’s shown displeasure in their poor utilization of him-FACT, only a complete moron wouldn’t be displeased if they had his skill set.

The offensive scheme blows, our QBs have mostly sucked as have our OCs under the constraints of the human hurdle success…am I throwing a tantrum? No, just stating facts.

Calling it a tantrum is a narrative imo as is the agenda of several click bait seeking morons posing as legitimate reporters/journalists

Keep lapping it up tho, do you

Chase 4 years 161m, highest issues non QB. Higgins 4 years 115m, with incentives to bring it up to 120m.

Now his dad sending messages. Please trade this cancer away and get that 2nd round pick back. So tired of all the Tomlin WR drama.

Can we trade you? Not only is this old, it's a non-issue as well. When you have teammates come out and say that he is misunderstood, and a target of the media, that's not being a cancer.

I'll edit this to add the new article from the front page, with a quote that's sure to make at least a couple people's head explode...

"No, we need more than one receiver in this league, and we're fortunate to have George (Pickens) and Calvin (Austin) and we're excited about what Roman (Wilson) is going to be," Khan told the media on Monday.
