Defending this turd is a broken record. You can't be serious.Let's not forget that GP is only 24 years old. He acts immature at times and makes stupid decisions but which of any of us wasn't acting and thinking the same as he is at 24?

what about a broken record?Defending this turd is a broken record. You can't be serious.
Its a proven winning strategy. Taking the opposite view of whatever you espouse.Defending this turd is a broken record. You can't be serious.

Throw in making the type of money he is making as a 24 year old,and knowing next year you will be signing a 100 million dollar contract. All the women involved……hey…I’m only human. I’d be losing a little focus too. And enjoying life a bit.Let's not forget that GP is only 24 years old. He acts immature at times and makes stupid decisions but which of any of us wasn't acting and thinking the same as he is at 24?
And for all the people that say they won't pay two WR's top money, they've paid two OLB top money on several occasions. And the this is the direction the league is going. It is NOT out of the realm of possibilities that they pay both GP and DK much like the Bengals just did.George’s talent level is undeniable.
If they are able to tap his full potential they have an easy top 5 receiver in the league.
Even operating at his current effort level combined with his immense talent level he is an easy top 20 receiver in the league…hopefully we get the pleasure of seeing him operate closer to his ceiling for a long, long time.
If nothing else a nice tasty extension could thin the herd of moron posters around here with some needed head explosions- OPTIMISTIC VIEW
Really hoping this guy gets a nice extension and I can have the pleasure of watching his crazy playmaking ability for years to come.
It's called perspective.
per·spec·tive
/pərˈspektiv/
a particular attitude toward or way of regarding something; a point of view.
"most guidebook history is written from the editor's perspective"
Unlike you, I live by the mantra "expect the best, prepare for the worst", which is called "Optimism"
op·ti·mism
/ˈäptəˌmiz(ə)m/
hopefulness and confidence about the future or the successful outcome of something.
"the talks had been amicable and there were grounds for optimism"
You're negative nelly "everything sucks" all the time isn't healthy. You have to learn to find the beauty in all things. Here is some good for you to watch and enjoy.
GP putting in work
Since the FO doesn't discuss contract negotiations, and Watt is pretty typically quiet during the offseason, I think this is just a big nothing-burger. The FO doesn't typically start negotiating extensions for their own until after the draft. Watts last extension got signed JUST in time for training camp. Until then, I'm not worried about a reporter looking for clicks about a pic posted on an IG story.Off topic because it's a different player sending cryptic social media messages. And one that's well loved instead of Pickens.
Any thoughts on the message the Watt just sent?
I think we're going to get a deal done. But I like that we're playing hard ball. It's hard for even elite players to live up to huge 3rd contracts.

It certainly doesn't help that he is paired with captain of all undisciplined and sloppy of all head coaches, by far, in the NFL. Clown-lin has a long list of - unbelievable really - players who turned out to be nuttier than all hell. Should I begin with the nuttiest of all, AB? Ryan Clark witnessed his transgression from "just an odd guy" to all out wacko in his time in Pgh. All "coached" by none other than Clown-lin. Of course, Bell went wacky, as did Blount and Bryant. DJ's gotta be in there. Santonio Holmes weed binges were well-known. (Didn't he get busted smoking out on a car ride to the airport with Blount?) The list is endless for problem, undisciplined players and Clown-lin. How do we "just happen" to draft all of these players with self-control issues? Just unlucky, huh?George’s talent level is undeniable.

there's a reason he wasn't a 1st rounder despite all the talent. BUT He's not even close to crazy AB levels or dope headsIt certainly doesn't help that he is paired with captain of all undisciplined and sloppy of all head coaches, by far, in the NFL. Modeling team building after the Bengals is certainly a strategy. They’re about to lose their best (only good?) defender as a result of all the money going to the offense and the OL needs major help.
It’s also not like they’re just putting together this offensive dream team and the sky is the limit, these guys have been together for four seasons now and they’re getting diminishing results every year.
As hard as it is to land top talent at the position they’d be foolish to not explore their options in ways to extend him.
You are quite correct, in an offensive league 2 receivers are almost necessary
I certainly don't lack Experience or wisdom, so your use of the word is again, incorrectly used. I'm on record stating that he's immature and does the stupid things a young lad just, does. But he is one hell of a receiver and you certainly cannot deny that. You want to dock him for poor blocking or lack of effort at times, I'll give you that. But don't come on this board and call him a complete "turd". He needs a mentor and some humility is all. It's called naivety, pure and simple. Nothing else to it. You are powerfully naive. https://www.bing.com/videos/rivervi...B2C6C11E1F5FB5FF7D2FB2C6C11E1F5FB5F&FORM=VIRE
I routinely watch 24-year old NFL players who do not act the way Pickens does on a weekly basis.Let's not forget that GP is only 24 years old. He acts immature at times and makes stupid decisions but which of any of us wasn't acting and thinking the same as he is at 24?
Dude.Defending this turd is a broken record. You can't be serious.
Having two and paying two top dollar are completely different things. WR is quite a fungible position, even in this relatively week draft class you can find them in the first three rounds. You can also pick up 3rd contract guys like Adams on a yearly basis.
