Who said star? WTF man. WE are talking about being a solid contributor not a star. Not every draft pick will be star, a team is filled with servicable players who do their role and play special teams.

If you follow the thread you will notice posters claimed Connor would make many NFL rosters because of the stats he has put up. I merely pointed out that 318 yards in 2 years is not hardcore evidence that that is true. It merely Tomlin's "brother plan" that is keeping him here. And such an effective plan that has been. Watt, Johnson, Edmunds, etc. have been so very effective.
Making a roster is a far cry from being a star, you brought that up "otherwise he is a "star" in the making". It isn't his name keeping him here. That is your anti-Tomlin delusional thinking. For what he has been asked to do he has produced. You have an inherent bias against the guy simply for his name. He would be on another team if he wasn't with us. He is valuable on special teams and can play in the field.

But in a given game, we have ONE extra OLB to fill in for a tired OLB and after that we are done. Just normal procedure ah? But at ILB we have 3 extra LBs to fill in? Huh? Can that be right?
Leal will get some snaps at OLB
I mean our olbs play between 80 and 90% of snaps and the top backup gets almost all the leftovers, which isnt much since some formations dont have 2 Olbs.. thats why Ingram quit on us a few years back, and we traded him midseason (getting us the pick we used on Connor, IIRC, btw
) or why Harrison noped his way off the team... barring injury, backup Olbs get little time... and the 4th olb has basically been kept as a ST ace... Yes
imagine how crazy it would be for him if his coffee didn't have enough sugar one morning. lol
