Yep....pass protection...I get it. Lol
The last few years they didn't seem to care if the defense knew what was coming. What makes this year different? Yet giving a rookie RB a series or 2 who is sub par in pass protection is out of the question because it would insinuate that we would only be running if he is in there.
Well. He might never get better at pass protection. Or only slightly better. Such a high draft wasted perhaps. Well at least we have him for KO duties luckily.
When Harris was in there the last few years we ran on 1st down like 90% of the time. 2nd down like 85% of the time. Now if we put a rookie in there who is subpar in pass protection we are giving the defense to much of a tell tale.
What if he is subpar in pass protection but superior in actually running the ball?
