Same goes for the “D”, it will take a game or two to/ three.

There was some improvement even in this game.

The Jets OC called a very good game VS this crap defensive scheme.

If Austin is actually calling this defense, we are in a hella hurt.

It’s Tomlin dictating the scheme and putting his stamp on the game plan.

Austin makes the calls, but through Tomlin’s head-set.

He is in the dog house. It has been well reported he is struggling to be effective in pass protection in practice and won’t see the field much until he learns. Otherwise it would a too obvious what is coming and they will just stack the box. I don’t blame him for that fumble today that was a perfect tackle.

18 years is a very long time. I think you are over looking the Tomlinship angle. Sadly. A great feat. Never done before from a start of a coaching career. 🤔

Yep....pass protection...I get it. Lol

The last few years they didn't seem to care if the defense knew what was coming. What makes this year different? Yet giving a rookie RB a series or 2 who is sub par in pass protection is out of the question because it would insinuate that we would only be running if he is in there.

Well. He might never get better at pass protection. Or only slightly better. Such a high draft wasted perhaps. Well at least we have him for KO duties luckily.

When Harris was in there the last few years we ran on 1st down like 90% of the time. 2nd down like 85% of the time. Now if we put a rookie in there who is subpar in pass protection we are giving the defense to much of a tell tale. 🙄

What if he is subpar in pass protection but superior in actually running the ball?🤔

He is a rookie who came from a run only team. Have some patience. He will get his shot. We have way too little patience anymore.

Thornhill stated they were not fully prepared for Fields. A truly crazy thought. The question that we all should ask is.....why not?

Rodgers is going to cover a lot of warts with this staff if he stays healthy. That should have easily been a L yesterday with the coaching and preparation on D.

I know if we were running our offense of the previous 4 or 5 years it definitely would have been a loss. Our offense was crippled and held back.

superman is a lame duck moderator ,, who is like ice tea becoming a tv cop. Its just dumb.

Coolie is like a buried tick on a gorilla. Fat and bloated, you cant get him out and no one is sure how he got there. But its on a gorilla so you just leave it be.
