I like Dirty red but with these other young guys playing balls out on special teams do we really need him? Speed kills.

Strip sack return for TD by AAF guy we signed last week.I had to take a phone call...how did we score a TD?
I agree, why would they want an experienced guy who can make the calls on defense when they can keep some fast guys who have no idea what they're doing to backup Vince and Bush
Vince is going nowhere. Dirty red will have to be beat out on STs like Chickillo.I am going out on a limb and saying with the wealth of talent we have I think I would only keep one of Bince or Dirty Red. They are too similar and we have way too much to lose with keeping two slow MLB over the faster young guys.
Man, as it stands...Sutton is better than Chick. Ola is better too; and so is Skipper. I would venture to say that Elliott is better too (once he learns the system)...
It's a wash at MLB for Gilbert and Dirty Red.
Some tough choice on Saturday are coming...
Do you want Red on the field when we have a passing situation and he is forced to cover?

I don’t disagree with what you are saying I just think Gilbert as the fourth guy offers more than Red. I don’t see him looking lost but it is a small sample size. Vince is already a liability when forced to cover.Yes. I'd rather have a guy who knows what he's doing over a guy who just runs around unaware. Don't overreact to these week 4 games.
People wanted Larry Foote gone for years because he wasn't very athletic. The steelers let him go and ILB was a clusterfuck of mistakes. Knowing what you are doing is vastly underrated.
That's why the Pats got rid of Jamie Collins a few years ago. Great athlete who wasn't always in the right place. The Pats always have a good defense built around guys who are in the right place, not on the guys who are fastest.
