Steelers-panthers game thread - last call

Rudolph can’t always focus on Washington in scramble situation though
I agree, and when its 1st and 30, you dont need to try and get all 30 in one play. He did that on 2nd down too. Despite those things, he's still better than Dobbs in my book

Edit: Got my downs messed up

I feel like Boz should be kicking tonight too.

I still cannot believe that they didn’t fire the special teams coach.... like it was abysmal last year in every aspect

Layne caught sleeping.

Layne was gimpy on the play previous to the TD throw

Craig Woofley just reported it from the sidelines.

I don’t disagree with what you are saying I just think Gilbert as the fourth guy offers more than Red. I don’t see him looking lost but it is a small sample size. Vince is already a liability when forced to cover.

Devin Bush is also a liability on coverage as he has shown again otonight when he was burned by #39 for 52 yards Bush is being compared to Shazier and he is no where in Shazier's class and that pains me to say it as a Uof M alum and die hard. Bush was bad in coverage for 3 years and teams liked to isolate him in coverage and he is a terrible trail cover guy who does not play upmto his posetd speed and tonight the lumbering #39 just ran away from Bush/

I mean it is early and both could be fine in a year, but snell was expected to push Samuels as a backup and Layne was absolutely called out as a huge sleeper talent

Who is the bigger draft disappointment to date, Snell or Layne?

Layne was always going to be a project from all that I heard from training camp and post draft stuff. Snell though, I thought snell would have made more of an impact than he has so far. But it super early in both of their careers and anything can still happen.

We should have just kept Bostic, I doubt Bush is going to be any better.
