I think its pretty obvious that the weak link of this team is the secondary, particular at the safety postition. Im not sure where Sharmarko Thomas has been but maybe its time to start rotating him in and out with Troy & Mitchell. Hopefully this group start getting better quick, this team has alot of potential if they can get it together here.

He has been blessed with the injury bug this season, ankle, hamstring, other hamstring, just one damn thing after another.

The word "jam" was used 4 times in that article? Who the hell are they trying to fool? Playing 15 yds off the receiver is not jamming.

Also...

Troy said
Asked if he has seen improvement, veteran safety Troy Polamalu wasn't sure.

“The last couple weeks we've given up a lot of big plays,” he said. “But I think the major difference is the way our offense has been playing, digging us out of some big-play ruts that we have given up.”

Seems to me he recognizes the defensive suckitude and wanted to focus on the positives. I respect that.

Nice words from Mitchell. This last three games is a test for him as well...if he plays like has been his job is in jeopardy
