Dude, it was ME. My radical viewpoints were too cutting-edge for SN to stomach. I was getting too close to the truth. I brought the board to an absolute standstill with my Colter-esque contrarianism.

Exactly. I am not defending anything. I think it's laughable and ridiculous how nuts people go over something like this. I hope it goes to 200 pages so I can continue to point and laugh at all the crybabies.

Folks have tried for awhile. Some just cannot let it go, this Steeler criticism. Anyone can see who has intentionally kept this thread open.

I wish I were a real fan. I drove from Tennessee to Latrobe a few years ago to watch camp and see the city; this board has shown me that I only did that to bask in my dislike. Now, I take my football data and game plan information from press conferences and America's Game DVD interviews with the players. I recognize that Jarvis Jones was excellent as a rookie, and that sacks aren't important from your pass rushers. And I've learned that a head coach has no responsibilities or expectations beyond shouting catch phrases. Most importantly, I've learned that anyone who doesn't buy into these thick lines of bullshit is a fake fan.

Who wouldn't want that as part of their Steeler Nation legacy!
 
The board has been updated and reloaded many times since then but if I remember there were quite a lot of posts on Gildon/Gildong and Timmons who if not having a tremendous amount of posts in each of their own threads had a series of posts show up in everyone else's threads. Theirs was the criticism that wouldn't die.

I get it is a forum and opinions and all that. But at what point is enough, enough, whichever side you fall on? Let the kid play.

While I did not like the pick, I fall more in line with the positive people. Because, and this is the key, what the **** are we going to do about it? All this complaining, it isn't like we have any control over the situation. Therefore, I will think positive and hope it works out. If it does, great. If not, I am not miserable before I have to be.
