Last jagoff sucked ***. We thought he would be a tackling machine. It's 100% truth.

I'd figure they have to hit on some of these tenured free agent guys they just signed. I hope they can all gell.

I’m a huge fan of this. Cinci might be a good trade partner if their guy is there at 20. Give us their picks in the bottom of the first and third
 
Wow only $8 Mil per season....that's less than we paid for Schobert isn't it?
 
How did he suck in the last couple of years? Dude had over 100 tackles in both years. Would have liked to have seen a higher percentage of them be solo tackles, but 100+ tackles is nothing to sneeze at coming from your ILB. Hell, maybe it frees Minkah up so that he doesn't have to put up ILB numbers as far as tackles. I like the signing.

Pretty sweet highlights Berm.....we sure do love our LB’s in Steeler Town!

I remember a lot of us wanting to take a chance on him in The 2016 draft.

You can’t compare jack to Schobert or anybody really 2 yrs 16 geez us! Your only as good as those around in the nfl and in the trenches. with full preseason, Haywood, watt, fitzpatrick, in front, beside and behind jack it could put him in pro bowl if he stays healthy. Fast tough tackler can cover.. Schobert got a tough break came in late had buggs in front of him and bush beside him.. still had over 100 tackles but 2 yrs 16m? And miles is a better player all things equal… that’s got to be the steal of preseason so far colberts on fire!!! Trade DJ, sign julio, draft a wr, done and done!!!

I think it was a little like Mink with the Dolphins moving him all over the place. I think he will have a more defined role with us. The D is sitting better. I think a WR,SS, CB and a Dline man could really stock the team. Hoping SS and CB is a soon sign.
 
If anyone had told me that the Steelers would trade a 2022 6th round pick to the Jags and get Schobert in 2021 and Jack to replace him in 2022, I'd have laughed in their faces.
I know that's not how it actually went down .... But, that's how I"m going to look at it. lol
 
Btw, if I'm Edmunds' and Witherspoons' agents, I'm telling them they should let me try to get something done in the 2 year range. Playing on a defense with Highsmith, Cam, AluAlu, Tuitt (possibly), and TJ up front, Jack at ILB, Minkah at FS, and with an upgrade at CB .... Shoot, that should be their dream scenario.
Not to mention if Bush actually gets it together this year.
Two years on that defense and you should be able to establish a better FA value for yourself.

I target Donte Jackson CB and Kearse S. Or resign Edmunds then get ready for the draft.
